Eric Faulkner

Eric Faulkner, 48, of Pittsburgh, died Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, after an 11 month battle with melanoma. He was born on March 16, 1974 to the late Robert and Alice (Karr) Faulkner. He is survived by his best friend and wife of 19 years Stacy (Carter) Faulkner. Eric's greatest joy was being a father to Trevor, Peyton and Maddox; he taught them them the true meaning of unconditional love. He's the dear brother of Laura (Metin) Arcan, Tom (Deb) Faulkner, Brian (Jill) Faulkner, Alice (Ken) Mack and the late Robert Faulkner. Eric graduated from Avonworth High School in 1992 and never left the community he loved. He raised his sons in the same community were he coached their youth football teams and spent eight years as president of the Avonworth Eagles. He was an example of courage, kindness and simplicity; he was a humble man who enjoyed the simple things in life; the company of good friends, good music, a Steeler game and a cold Bud Light Beer. In 2006 Eric bought the Carmel Construction Company; he spent his life expanding the company by doing exceptional work. Eric always led a fulfilling life which was driven by the accomplishments and love for his family. Friends are invited the the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Hwy, Pittsburgh PA 15237 on Monday Dec., 2022 from 2-8 p.m. A service will take place at 7 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
