Margaret Milliken Margaret Ethel Thompson Dillman Milliken, 84, of Seven Fields, formerly of Ben Avon, died Monday, Dec. 20, 2010. She is survived by her husband, Daniel A. Dillman; four children, Margie Milliken Morris and her husband Rick of Palm Coast, FL, Richard P. Milliken and his wife Cheryl of McCandless, Patti Milliken Welsh and her husband Keith of Bellevue and Molly L. Milliken Aimes and her husband Mike of Wadsworth, OH; three stepchildren, Daniel R. Dillman and his wife Terry of Portersville, Robert C. Dillman and his wife Suzanne of Cranberry and Amy S. Marcucci and her husband Paul of Burgettstown; nine grandchildren, Gregory R. Morris and his wife Renee, Carol L. Morris, Amanda J. Kearns, Megan L. Kearns, Bryan O. Herrmann and his wife Kelly, Eric G. Herrmann, Lauren A. Aimes, Callie N. Aimes and Nick L. Aimes; nine step-grandchildren, Erika O'Connor, Katie O'Connor La and her husband David, Danny Dillman, Amanda Dillman, Bobby Dillman, Eric Dillman, Ryan Dillman, Nico Marcucci and Dante Marcucci; four great-grandchildren, Logan Morris, Griffin Morris, Sienna Morris and Taylor Herrmann; and two step-great-grandchildren, Peyton La and Evan Wolf. She was preceded in death by her first husband, J. Richard Milliken; her parents, Walter J. and Catherine L. Thompson; four siblings, Homer Thompson, Mildred Moore, Russell Thompson and Mary Johnson; and her stepdaughter, Judith O'Connor. Friends were received at the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon, until the time of services on Thursday at Community Presbyterian Church of Ben Avon. Burial was in Allegheny County Memorial Park.Lisle Jobe Lisle McHenry Jobe, 86, of Indiana, PA, husband of the late Norma Jean Jobe, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010. Mr. Jobe was a member of Graystone Presbyterian Church. He was a member of United Commercial Travelers, the Pittsburgh Zoo and the National Aviary. He was an active member of the Indiana Senior Action Center and was retired from FMC, where he worked as a draftsman. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. He is survived by four children, David L. Jobe and his wife Donna, Paul W. Jobe and his fiancée Donna Banko, all of Indiana, Brian K. Jobe and his wife Marian of Bellevue and Sandra Smelko and her husband Dennis of Indiana; five grandchildren, Julianne and Jared Smelko, Adrienne, Shane and Sarah Jobe; his sister-in-law, Gene Jobe; his niece, Judy Jobe; and other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lisle M. and Sarah G. McHenry Jobe; and his brother, Earl Jobe. Friends were received at Robinson-Lytle Funeral Home, Indiana. Mrs. Myers attended St. Leo Elementary School and St. Mary High School in Brighton Heights. She worked in the elections offices of Churchill Borough and volunteered at Braddock General Hospital. She was active in local Republican politics. She was an accomplished seamstress. She is survived by her sister, Mercedes Harter; seven nieces and nephews, Timothy Meals and his wife Eleanor, Gregory Gloss and his wife Virginia, Lonn Gloss and his wife Kathy, Victor Hingeley and his wife Jane, Madeleine Hingeley Evans, Victoria Gloss Hanna, and Renee Gloss; and grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by four siblings, Victor Harter, Mary Louise Meals, Regina Hingeley and Charlene Gloss; and two nephews, Daniel and Jeffrey Meals. Mrs. Morgan was a member of the Red Hat Society and a longtime volunteer at Suburban General Hospital. She was an avid reader and created dolls and other crafts. She is survived by five siblings, Velma Bailey, Ruby Hurst, Ila Tschantz, Dewey Walker and Cody Walker; and nieces and nephews. Memorial donations are suggested to his church's building fund.Barbara Koch Barbara Challis Koch of Sewickley, formerly of Ben Avon Heights, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010. Mrs. Koch was active in her church as deacon, elder and president of the women's association. She was president of Ben Avon Heights Community Club, a member of Emeritus and the Junior League of Pittsburgh. In 1965, she was honored as Volunteer of the Year at the Carnegie Museum Ball in Architectural Hall for her work at Pressley House in Children's Theater and Creative Dramatics. She was a graduate of Miss Newman's School in Detroit and continued her education at UCLA, Marjorie Webster Junior College and Wayne University. She was a member of Penwriters, Inc. and published poetry and also wrote a novel. She was an associate member of the Literary Club of Bellevue and co-chaired its 100th anniversary celebration which was held at the 20th Century Club where she was a member. She was on the board of Sewickley Music Club and an associate member of the Pittsburgh Symphony Association. She is survived by her husband, John L. Koch Jr.; three children, John Koch III and his wife Amelia Williams, David C. Koch of New Orleans, LA and Sarah C. Koch of Philadelphia; her sister, Sarah C. Wall and her husband James T. of Birmingham, AL; two grandchildren, Amelia and Jack Koch of New Orleans; and her brother-in-law, Albin C. Woodworth and his wife Harriet of Pasadena, CA. Jr. and Laurence G., both of Pittsburgh, and Robert A of New York, NY and John N. of Seattle, WA; three grandchildren, Stephanie, Richard and Hanna; and sisters, Virginia Williams of Houston TX and Gloria Perry of Pittsburgh. Mr. Weingartz was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a graduate of Duquesne University. Prior to retiring to Florida, he was the tax collector for Ben Avon Borough, and a former member of Sacred Heart Church in Emsworth.Eloise Gatewood Eloise May Smith Gatewood, 86, of York, PA, formerly of Bellevue, died Dec. 5, 2010. Mrs. Gatewood was a member of the Bellevue High School Class of 1941. She retired from ACCO corporation, and had been a member of the First Presbyterian Church of York for more than 50 years. She was a watercolor artist, loved to bowl, and was a member of numerous card clubs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oather Gatewood, and her brother, Ralph Smith. She leaves her children, Paul Dietz, Bob Hubbard, Gary Hubbard, Karen Schaeffer and Althea Hartman; grandchildren Ryan Dietz, Reagan Hubbard, Eric Myers, Brett Myers and Aaron Hubbard; and great-grandchildren Trevor and Kelis Banks. The wife of the late Ralph James Simpson, she was retired from the G.C. Murphy Company in Bellevue. She leaves three children, Cynthia DeMarche of Norwalk, Gary Simpson and his wife Andrea and Kim Crankshaw and her husband John, all of Pittsburgh; a sister, Fay Ebbitt of Scottsdale, AZ; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her aprents, Charles H. and Ida L. Utz Boehmig, and a great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be held at a later date.
