BOROUGH OF AVALONThe Council of Avalon Borough will consider the adoption of Ordinance #1396 at their public Borough Council meeting on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. at the Borough Building, 640 California Avenue, Avalon, PA 15202.&emsp;&emsp;The title and summary of the Ordinance follows:&emsp;&emsp;AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF AVALON, COUNTY OF ALLEGHENY, COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING CHAPTER 385 ("VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC"), ARTICLE II ("TRAFFIC REGULATIONS") OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE BOROUGH OF AVALON WITH REGARD TO PLACEMENT OF STOP SIGNS AND AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF ADDITIONAL STOP SIGNS AT VARIOUS INTERSECTIONS IN THE BOROUGH OF AVALON. SUMMARYThe proposed Ordinance authorizes the Borough to add six stop signs, remove one stop sign, and change the direction of travel at two intersections.
