Margaret Becker Karis

Margaret (Becker) Karis, 83, of Avalon, died Friday, Jan. 14, 2022. Margaret was born July 23, 1938, in McKees Rocks to the late Philip and Margaret Becker. She was the wife of the late James Karis. Her proudest achievements were her to late sons James Jr. and John Karis. She leaves behind to cherish her memory are her sister-in-laws, Roula (Karis) Wolff of Alabama and Patricia (Achilles) of Pittsburgh, two nieces, five nephews and many grandnieces and nephews. Marge was and inspiration to all who knew her. She remained the same warm, kind, generous person throughout her lifetime. She had a soft spot for animals especially her two horses. She was a creative artist extraordinaire who traveled the world for adventure and thrills at many casinos. Friends are invited to a blessing service on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022, 2 p.m., at Allegheny County Memorial Park, 1600 Duncan Ave, Pittsburgh, Pa 15101.
