Michael Albert Dingman

Michael Albert Dingman, 62, of Avalon, died Friday, Jan. 30, 2026. A lover of all things black and gold, Michael was a true "Pittsburger" and lived for a Sunday afternoon Steeler game and a walk with his faithful four-legged companion, Jethro. A 1981 graduate of Northgate High School, Michael was the life of the party bringing joy and laughter to the ones who loved and knew him best. His infectious laugh, positive attitude, and joy of living will be greatly missed. He was born in West View on June 7, 1963, to the late parents Kathleen Casey and Albert W. Dingman of Avalon, PA. He is survived by his life partner of 25 years, Megan Robinson, of Bellevue. He was a father to James Dingman (Kayla) of Whitehall, PA; Michael Dingman and (late) Amanda Dingman of Sarasota, FL; and nine grandchildren. He is survived by siblings Amy Pengidore (Tom) of Alexandria, VA, Jeannine Harris of Lusby, MD, Timothy Dingman (Bridget) of Latrobe, PA, and Christopher Dingman of Pittsburgh. Visitation will take place Monday, Feb. 9, 2026, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 460 Lincoln Ave., Pittsburgh (Bellevue) PA 15202. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026, at Regina Coeli Parish, Church of the Assumption, 45 North Sprague Ave., Bellevue. Donations to help with funeral expenses may be made to the family.
