Brother Harry Dierks Brother Harry Paschal Dierks, OFM, 82, died Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Brother Harry was a member of Franciscan Friars, St. John the Baptist Province. He ministered at St. Anthony Friary in Uniontown, PA, St. Francis Retreat House in Easton, PA, the former Franciscan House of Evangelization in Pittsburgh and Holy Family Friary in Avalon. He is survived by three siblings, Rosemarie Sacharnski, LaVerne Dierks and Thomas Dierks, all of Union City, NJ; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Catherine Dierks. Friends were received at Holy Family Friary on Friday until the time of a Wake Service. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at the School Sisters of St. Francis, Mt. Assisi, on Saturday. Burial was in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery.
