James G. Weigand James "Jim" G. Weigand, 74, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Emsworth, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015. He is survived by his daughters Terri Tuma and her husband Jeffrey; LaVerne Weigand and her fiance Marc Tatton; LaTawnia Kershaw and "son-in-law" Steve Shuljak; his grandchildren Bobbie, Nicholette, Casey and Benjamin; six great-grandchildren, siblings Albert Weigand and Mary Andrews, and 23 nieces and nephews. Born Dec. 24, 1940 to the late George and Elizabeth Weigand, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Katherine (Hawk), daughter Pamela Jo Decker, grandson Justin, great-grandson Devin, and sisters Betty Braden and Dorthy Tedesco. Known to some by his CB call name "Daddy Doll," he enjoyed radio clubs, stock car racing, camping and riding his motorcycle wherever it led him. Jim was a gifted wood craftsman. He was always the life of the party with something funny to say, and will be missed by many, especially dear friends John Walburn, Donna Jackson, Dawn Workman and nephew Thomas Tedesco.Anne Rose Anne Young Rose, 90, of Avalon, formerly of Bellevue and wife of the late Donald Rose Sr., died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015. Mrs. Rose was an active member of the Church of the Assumption and its Christian Mothers. She volunteered at bingo and the parish festivals. She was a den mother for the Boy Scouts and a room mother at Jackson Elementary School. She is survived by three daughters, Marianne Desso, Catherine Rocus and Christine Rose; and three grandchildren, Andrew, Rusty and Benjamin Rocus. She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Rose Jr.; and two sisters, Albena Quinn and Adele Stabryla. Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. Pipilo, died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015 in Scottsdale, AZ. She is survived by three children, Linda Pipilo of Virginia, Sharon M. Pipilo of Arizona and Ronald A. Pipilo of Virginia; her brother, Thomas G. Schumaker of Florida; and her grandson, Joseph Martier. Friends were received at O'Brien Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral mass was held in St. Cyril of Alexandria Church on Monday.Tyrone Wells Sr. Tyrone D. Wells Sr., 71, of Brighton Heights, died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Celesa Wells; three children, Shanena Wilmer, Takisha Miyares and Tanea Miyares; his sister, Betty Jean Newton; and 22 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Jamon Miyares and Tyrone Wells Jr.; and his parents, Willie and Sadie Wells. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side, where services were held on Tuesday.Joan Ann Visokey Joan Ann Corcoran Visokey, 75, of Brighton Heights, died Monday, Feb. 2, 2015. She is survived by five children, Bernard Visokey Jr., Martin Visokey, Deborah Visokey, Kelly Visokey and Matthew Visokey and his wife Patricia; her sister, Audrey Snyder; three grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob and Isabella Visokey; and five cousins, Janet, Eileen, Collette, Robin and Bebe. Tuminello Ley, 80, of McKees Rocks, formerly of Avalon and wife of the late John E. Ley, died Friday, Jan. 30, 2015. Mrs. Ley had worked as a waitress and cook. She attended Life Pittsburgh and enjoyed playing bingo, cooking, baking and crafts. She is survived by four children, Carlene A. Czopek and her husband Dennis, Barbara Wadlow, James V. Dusch and his wife Jan and Cletus Ley and his wife Kim; two sisters, Theresa Macatuttis and Ann Lynch; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two siblings,s Jean Smith and Arthur Tuminello. Friends were received at the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon.Joanne Sowa Joanne Helen Sowa died Friday, Jan. 30, 2015. Ms. Sowa had been an assistant librarian at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health and then the School of Nursing until her retirement. She volunteered to teach religion to the children at the Western PA School for the Blind for the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh. For the last 15 years, she volunteered to teach religion to the second grade children that were members of St. Cyril of Alexandria Church. She is survived by two siblings, Elsie Mary Uribe of Lima, Peru and Robert Michael Sowa of Pittsburgh; two nephews, Dr. John P. Uribe and his wife Julieta of Pittsburgh and Michael P. Uribe and his wife Jeannie of Lima; her niece, Anne E. Uribe of Lima; five grandnieces and grandnephews, Alexandra and Christopher of Uribe, Rebecca Uribe and Nicole Andrea Uribe Cornejo; an aunt; and cousins. Innamorato and his wife Holly, Lindsay Amoroso and her husband Philip, Sara, Daniel R. and Nichole Innamorato; two great-grandchildren, Giovanni and Allesandra; and nieces and nephews. Mrs. Reddick had been a registered nurse. She is survived by her husband, Robert Reddick Sr.; four children, Dawn Ann Petronic and her husband John of Allison Park, , Robin Lyn Thill and her husband Rick of Pine Township., Robert Reddick Jr. and his wife Sheri of West Deer Township and Shaun Otto and his wife Pam of Plum; 11 grandchildren, Heather, Tara, Noah, Zachary, Kelly, Lindsay, Emily, Matthew, Carly, Megan and Michael; two great-grandchildren, Eli and Max; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Margaret Bodnar; and three siblings, Martin and Ronald Bodnar and Ruth Sarazan. Friends were received at the Lawrence T.
