Angela Arlia

Angela Arlia, 93, of Bellevue died peacefully, Monday, Nov. 18, 2024, just days before what would have been her 94th birthday on Nov. 30. Born in Belmonte, Calabro, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Gennaro and Maria Arlia; wife of the late Antonio Arlia; mother of Giuseppe (Anne Marie Bosnyak) Arlia of West View and Nicola (Angela) Arlia of West View; grandmother of Maria and Julia Arlia; sister of the late Gabriele (late Michelina) Arlia of Bellevue, sister-in-law of the late Giuseppina (late Michele) Veltri of Italy and the late Luigi (Iolanda) Arlia of Bellevue; aunt of Gennaro (Mary Lou) Arlia, Antonio Arlia, Teresa (Paul) Haberstock, Giovanna (Franco) Veltri, and Maria Veltri. Angela was retired from Brady Felt Products Company after over 30 years of service and was a long-time member of the Church of the Assumption. Angela was a person of unwavering love and devotion to her family. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones, and her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the comforting aroma of home-cooked meals. Whether she was in her garden, tending to her plants, or busying herself around the house, she took great pride in nurturing the things she loved. Her hands were never idle, and she found joy in the simplest of tasks. The family deeply appreciates the caregivers and providers whose compassionate care made it possible for Angela to remain in her home for the past four and a half years. Friends received Friday, Nov. 22, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 460 Lincoln Ave., Bellevue. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Regina Coeli Parish, Church of the Assumption, Saturday, 11 a.m. Entombment will follow in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery Mausoleum, Ross Township. The family suggests memorial donations in Angela's name be made to Coeli Parish, Church of the Assumption, 45 North Sprague Ave., Bellevue, PA 15202.
