Russell Bookser Russell Noel Bookser, 63, of Denton, TX, formerly of Pittsburgh and the husband of the late Debra Keast Bookser, died Friday, May 22, 2015 in Presbyterian Hospital, Denton. Mr. Bookser was retired from Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). He was a member of Stanfield Masonic Lodge in Denton. He was a former member of Brighton Heights Lutheran Church, Laurel Gardens Volunteer Fire Co. and a social member of Sgt. Joseph D. Caskey American Legion Post #80, all in Pittsburgh. He is survived by his mother, Betty Crowley Bookser; two siblings, Marilynn Berner and her husband Kenneth and Michael Bookser and his wife Margaret; a niece, Kelly Ross and her husband Michael; two nephews, Christopher Berner and his wife Heather and Michael Bookser and his wife Katie; and seven grandnieces and grandnephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Bookser. A memorial service will be held later. Memorials are suggested to Stanfield Masonic Lodge or a favorite charity. Keane, 72, of White Oak, died Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in UPMC McKeesport. Dr. Keane retired from his House Call Dental Practice in 2008. He served patients in nursing homes, hospitals and private residences with his wife as assistant. He formerly owned dental practices in Mt. Washington, Bellevue and Monroeville. He earned a degree in anesthesiology at the University of Pittsburgh and was a graduate of the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry. He was a member of the American and Pennsylvania Dental Associations, Schiller Institute, McKeesport Community Life, Jewish Community Center, McKeesport YMCA and Bally's Health Club in Penn Hills. He was an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife, Carol Warner Keane; his sister, Marion Wilson and her husband Bert of London, Ontario, Canada; his mother-in-law, Madeline Joyce of McKeesport; two nieces, Cathy and Jenny; and a nephew, John. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Helen Sargeant Keane. There was no visitation or services. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery. She was a longtime member of the Church of the Assumption, the CD of A Court Bellevue and Northgate AARP. She is survived by nieces, nephews and dear friends, Marcia and Steve Mosolansky.
