Bellevue launches mobile pay for metered parking

&emsp;&emsp;Drivers will now have a second payment option at metered parking spaces in Bellevue. &emsp;&emsp;The Mobile Pay feature will be available atn all metered spaces. The borough has begun labeling the meters, starting with the on-street spaces first. The information on the label provides a QR or text instructions to use the text-to-pay feature. &emsp;&emsp;The system requires no special app, as drivers connect through a web-based session where they have the option to pay as a guest or create an account. Transaction fees are charged, but apply per transaction rather than being based on the amount of time purchased. The codes drivers will text to 25023 are as follows: Lincoln Avenue and side street meters - LINCAVE; Municipal Lot 1 (Hawley Ave. & Sprague Ave.) - BBLOT1; Municipal Lot 2 (Meade Ave.) - BBLOT2; Municipal Lot 3 (N. Jackson Ave. @ Lincoln Ave) - BBLOT3; Bayne Ave metered spaces - BAYNEAV.
