Drug Take Back Day

Event Date: Sat, 2019-04-27

The Bellevue Police Department is hosting an opportunity for the public to prevent pill abuse and theft, by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.

The collection is being held Saturday, April 27, 10 a.m. to 2 pm. at the Bellevue Police Department, 537 Bayne Ave. Only pills or patches may be turned in; no liquids or needles or sharps can be accepted.

This service is free and anonymous; no questions asked.

This collection initiative addresses public safety and public health issues. The former method for disposing of unused medicines by flushing them down the toilet or throwing them in the trash is no longer advisable.
