Avonworth boys’ soccer coach Tom Angell sums up his explanation for his team’s 10-0-1 record in just a few words: “The team has great experience and is a really hard working group.”

But after a moment, he expands on that thought.

“We have a very passionate group who are willing to work very hard to get better. We have very high goals for this season and so far it is going very well,” he said.

Junior forward striker Tyler Bryan agrees with his coach. “At this point in the season, we’re almost certain to win section, and chances are good that we could go on to win a WPIAL championship.”
