School to continue

Assumption School in Bellevue will continue to offer classes to area students next year, while a number of other North Hills area Catholic schools face consolidation by the diocese due to declining enrollment.

Of the 12 north area Catholic schools included in the new regionalization plan, only Assumption and Northside Catholic School in Brighton Heights will continue to offer the same classes to the same grade levels next year. Both schools are required to submit strategic plans for their continued operation.

Schools in other North Hills parishes will be consolidated, with classes divided by grade level.
