Elizabeth Croker
Elizabeth “Betty” Muckian Croker, 82, of Avalon, died Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009.
She is survived by her husband, Elvin “Sonny” Croker; her brother, Raymond Muckian; nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by five siblings, Mary Rita, Dorothy, Bernard, Eileen and Martin Muckian.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Assumption on Saturday.

Frank Timpani
Frank A. Timpani, 85, of Avalon, husband of the late Josephine L. Romano Timpani, died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009.
He is survived by two sons, Salvatore “Sal” Timpani and his wife Beth and Francis V. Timpani and his wife Patti, both of Avalon; four siblings, Angel Thomas, Jenny O'Bringer, Philomena McCourt and Shirley Smith; two grandchildren, Francis Jr. and Luke Timpani; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three siblings, Julie McDonald, William Timpani and Dorothy Vogel.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Church of the Assumption on Saturday at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to his church at 45 N. Sprague Ave., Bellevue, PA 15202.

Albert Cronin
Albert S. Cronin of Brighton Heights died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, June Passoth Cronin; his daughter, June Baginski and her husband Paul; his brother, Edward Cronin of Ohio; and four grandchildren, Alanna, Deanna, Alexander and Katherine. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Peggy Ann Cronin.
Friends were received at O'Brien Funeral Home, North Side, where a blessing service was held on Wednesday.

Richard Warner Jr.
Richard E. Warner Jr. of Bellevue died Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009.
Mr. Warner had been a state constable for 12 years.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene A. Hoerr Warner; two stepdaughters, Shannon Roberts and her husband Patrick and Kimberly Glowczewski; his father-in-law, Charles Hoerr; his brother-in-law, David Hoerr and his wife Rose; and three nieces, Gina, Carly and Julie Hoerr. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vicky Goncar and Richard E. Warner Sr.

Alvin Keller
Alvin “Op” Keller, 81, of McKees Rocks, formerly of Glenfield and Avalon and husband of the late Anna Mae Lastominsky Keller and Margaret “Margie” Berish Keller, died.
He is survived by two children, Mark Keller and his wife Mary and Margie “Fluff” Anderson and her husband John; five grandchildren, Paula Gibson and her husband Ken, Joe Martini and his wife Roxanne, Brian Gochis and his wife Jane, Greg Gochis and his wife Hope and Sal Dedola; nine great-grandchildren, Jessica, Jaycee, Carl, Jack, Luke, Alex, Courtney, Riley and Max; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Gochis and her husband Bill.
Friends were received at Valerian F. Szal Funeral Home, McKees Rocks. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. John of God Parish, St. Mary Church, on Thursday.

Eleanor Lawall
Eleanor P. Lawall, 83, of Hampton Township, wife of the late George P. Lawall, died Sunday, Aug. 30, 2009.
She is survived by her son, Jeff Lawall; her sister, Helen P. Etzel and her husband William; her granddaughter, Kerri Lynn Lawall; three great-grandchildren, Alexis, Makayla and Ryleigh; and her nephew, Dave Pappert and his wife Lisa. She was preceded in death by her brother, Herman Pappert Jr.
Friends were received at the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon, where services were held on Thursday.

Martin Teague
Martin S. Teague, 53, of Ohio Township, died Monday, Sept. 14, 2009.
Mr. Teague owned Teague Industries for 11 years.
He is survived by his wife, Maureen Limegrover Teague; two siblings, Bette Ann Puharic and her husband Mark and Allan Teague; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Elanor Wanek Teague; and his brother, Michael “Mickey” Teague.
Friends were received at Devlin Funeral Home, North Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in SS John and Paul Church on Friday. Contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

Kay Teeter
Kay B. Teeter, 81, of Observatory Hill, died Friday, Sept. 4, 2009.
Mrs. Teeter retired from Mellon Bank as a secretary after 30 years of service. Earlier, she had worked at US Steel as a buyer's clerk for nine years. She was a longtime member of First Lutheran Church in downtown Pittsburgh and a member of Teutonia Mannerchor, secretary of Riverview AARP, Mellwood AARP, Elks Club and West View VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by two children, Pamela K. and Keith Teeter; three half-brothers, Ed, Tom and Carlton Brown; and two cousins, Shirley Gleditsch and Carol Haney. She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen S. Brown.
Friends were received at Heard Funeral Home, Observatory Hill. Funeral services were held in Emanuel Lutheran Church in Bellevue on Friday. Burial was in Voegtly Evangelical Cemetery.

Daniel Partridge
Daniel G. Partridge, 51, of Camillus, NY, formerly of Pittsburgh, died Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Grace Partridge; two children, Dan and Joy Partridge; his mother, Carole Rohm Partridge; and three siblings, Tom Partridge and his wife Barbara, Mike Partridge and his wife Carol and Hope Andrews and her husband Jack of Florida. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Partridge.
A memorial mass was held in St. Cyril of Alexandria Church on Friday.

Margaret Cepanec
Margaret R. Cepanec, 88, of Ross Township, formerly of Bellevue and wife of the late Louis J. Cepanec, died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2009.
Mrs. Cepanec was a 1938 graduate of Allegheny High school. She was a member of AARP #1630.
She is survived by her son, Louis Cepanec and his wife Marion; her sister, Ruth Harvey and her husband Joe; two grandchildren, Shelley West and her husband John and Derek Cepanec and his wife Laura Nebel; and five great-grandchildren, Kevin, Julianna, Darby, Maggie and Brady West. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert C. Reiter Jr.

Deborah Evans-Pietz
Deborah L. Hilderhoff Evans-Pietz, 58, of Brighton Heights, died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009.
She is survived by two children, Verenda and Valorie Black; four siblings, Mary Howard and her husband Michael, Bill and Edward Hilderhoff and Jeff; four grandchildren, Neena, Amber, Anna and Thomas; her goddaughter, Nicole Turner; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary B. Gootee; and her brother, Chuckie.
Friends were received at Heard Funeral Home, Observatory Hill, where services were held on Saturday.

Margaret Karl
Margaret M. “Marge” Karl, 62, of Edinboro, PA, formerly of Bellevue, died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009.
Ms. Karl was a graduate of Edinboro University with a master’s degree in political science. She was retired from the financial aid office of the university, where she had worked for 35 years.
She is survived by five siblings, Patricia, Frank and his wife Theresa, Janice, William and Carol Karl. She was the aunt of Katherine Arbuckle and her husband Brian, Frank and Joseph Karl; and her grandnephew, Julian Christopher Arbuckle. She was preceded in death by her parents, William C. and Grace M. Carr Karl.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Assumption on Monday. Burial was in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery.
