Michael J. Ettore
Michael J. Ettore, 80, of Bellevue, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, August 22, 2017.
He was the husband of the late Anna Mae (Eidenschenk) Ettore; father of Kimberly (Edward) Hock of Bellevue and Christina ( Michael) Robinson of Frederick, MD; grandfather of Eric Hock; brother of Linda Cronin of Valencia and the late Donald Ettore (surviving wife Maryanne). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25th, at the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Inc., 1014 California Ave, Avalon, where a Blessing Service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow at Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery, Ross Township.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests non perishable food donations to the Pinkerton Funeral Home for disbursement to the local food pantry.

Mary Louise (Stack) Hill
Mary Louise (Stack) Hill, 92, of Ben Avon, died Friday, August 18, 2017.
She was the wife of the late William W. Hill, Jr.; mother of Mary Lynne (Bob) Eakin of New York, Martha (Chuck) Weiss of Delaware, and the late William W. (Nancy) Hill III of Emsworth; predeceased by her brothers, William J. Stack, Jr. and J. Philip Stack. Also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Mary Louise graduated with a Master of Education from the University of Pittsburgh and devoted her life to the teaching profession. At Pitt she was a member of the Chi Omega sorority and the Heinz Chapel Choir. She was an avid music lover, who enjoyed playing the piano and sang in various church choirs and musical ensembles. An accomplished seamstress and quilter, she was also skilled in embroidery, needlepoint, and the creation of miniature doll houses. Much-loved by her extended family and friends, Mary Lou will be remembered for her kindness and generosity. She took great joy in spending time with her grandchildren and will be greatly missed.
There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, at St. Brendan's Church, 2365 McAleer Rd., Sewickley, PA 15143.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in her name to The Community at Holy Family Manor (CHFM), 301 Nazareth Way, Pittsburgh, PA 15229, Attn. Lynn Stys or to Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Healthcare at Home Hospice, Four Allegheny Ctr, 9th Fl., Pittsburgh, PA 15212, Attn. Lori Marshall.

Evelyn B. Tobin Snyder
Evelyn B. Tobin Snyder, of Avalon, died Monday, August 28, 2017.
She was the wife of the late Dr. Richard C. Snyder and the late Maurice J. Tobin; mother of the late Barbara Lynn Tobin; daughter of the late George and Henrietta Bernhardt; sister of the late Bernice Wilson; granddaughter of the late Mary Elizabeth Krahenbuehl; niece of the late Irene Krahenbuehl; surviving are nephews, John B. Conroy, Jr. and his wife, Antonia, Dennis Robert Conroy; and stepchildren, Nancy Jane Craig and Richard W. Snyder and his wife, Judy.
She was a faithful member of the United Presbyterian Church of Avalon where she served as Deacon and Trustee, and presently of New Life Community Church, Bellevue.
She was an active member of the garden club and early theater.
The family wishes to acknowledge Home Instead Senior Care, AHN Healthcare @ Home Hospice and Pam Martin for their exceptional care of Evelyn.
