Nancy Moore
Nancy F. Forsyth Moore, 78, of Bermuda Dunes, CA, formerly of Bellevue, died Saturday, July 23, 2011.
Mrs. Moore was a 1950 graduate of Bellevue High School and a 1954 graduate of Grove City College. She worked at U.S. Steel as an executive secretary. She enjoyed books and libraries and worked as a volunteer, most recently at Palm Desert Library and McCallum Theater.
She is survived by her husband Thomas W. Moore; three children, Hugh of Lebanon, OR, Samuel of Long Beach, CA and Priscilla of Houston, TX; and her brother, Richard H. Forsyth of Boston, MA. She was preceded in death by her parents, L.M. And Esther Olson Forsyth.
Memorials are suggested to Assistance League of Santa Ana, 1037 W. 1st St., Santa Ana, CA 92703 or Grove City College, 100 Campus Dr., Grove City, PA 16127. Arrangements were made by Fitzhenry-Wiefels Cremation and Burial Services, Indio, CA.

Esther Fazio
Esther E. Keller Fazio, 88, of Ross Township, wife of the late Samuel R. Fazio, died Saturday, July 30, 2011.
Mrs. Fazio was a member of the Silver Sneakers of Bellevue and enjoyed working at Avalon Veterinary Hospital.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Rebecca Cyr Fazio; her brother, Clifford Keller; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Edward S. Fazio; and five siblings, Lillian Seibert, George, Roy, Richard and John Keller.
Friends were received at Schellhaas Funeral Home, West View, where services were held on Wednesday.

Janice Strauss
Janice G. Young Fichter Strauss, 62, of Bellevue, died Saturday, July 30, 2011.
She is survived by her husband, Michael F. Young; three children, James Strauss, Wendy Strauss-Mohney and her husband T.J. And Bill Arensberg; and three grandchildren, Courtney, Reyna and Xavier.
There was no visitation. A memorial service will be held later. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements were made by Heard Funeral Home.

Veronica Vattimo
Veronica E. Snyder Vattimo, formerly of Avalon and wife of the late Mike Vattimo, died Saturday, July 30, 2011.
She is survived by two children, Michael Vattimo and his wife Dolly and Genevieve Bussard; two grandchildren, Michael Vattimo II and Brian Vattimo; and two great-granddaughters, Alyssa and Lauren Vattimo. She was preceded in death by six siblings, William, Edward, John and Mary Snyder, Genevieve Kovalik and Elizabeth Zombeck; and her grandson, Kirk Bussard.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Assumption on Tuesday. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Association, 1100 Liberty Ave., Suite E-201, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.

Joseph Barshowski
Joseph Barshowski of Pittsburgh, husband of the late Mary Ann Barshowski, died Saturday, July 30, 2011.
He is survived by his brother, David Barshowski and his wide Orysia; a nephew, Donald; and a niece, Nancy. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Eva; and five siblings, Michael, Stephania, Alexander, Frank and John.
Friends were received at Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral service was held in St. George Ukrainian Church on Tuesday. Contributions are suggested to his church at 3445 California Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
