Joseph F. Stowell
Joseph F. Stowell, 77, of Scottsdale, AZ, died July 10, 2018, from complications related to Alzheimer’s.
He was preceded in death by Gayle, his wife of 53 years.
Joe was born in Bellevue, PA to the late Joseph and Mary Stowell. After graduating from North Catholic High, Joe began his civilian career at HJ Heinz and attended University of Pittsburgh in the evenings, earning his bachelor’s degree.
Upon graduating, Joe rejoined the armed forces as a member of the US Army Reserve, from which he retired after 20 years of service, with the rank of Lt. Colonel.
During his early career, he held positions at Joy Manufacturing, Blue Shield and Rockwell International, a position that took Joe and Gayle to Corona, California, in 1989. After living in California for six years, they settled in Scottsdale, Arizona, where Joe held positions with the State of Arizona and the City of Scottsdale. Scottsdale also allowed Joe and Gayle to be near to their grandchildren.Joe was a very devoted husband and father. He enjoyed keeping in touch with friends from Pittsburgh, and traveling to Hawaii, Las Vegas and Stone Harbor, New Jersey.
Joseph is also survived by his son Michael (Robyn) of Scottsdale, AZ, daughter Wendy Yadlosky (Tom) of Clifford Township, PA, granddaughters Kate and Sarah Stowell, brother Michael Stowell (Maryann) of Pittsburgh, PA and his nieces and nephews.
Joseph was predeceased by his sister, Mary Anne Heldreth (Harry) of Corona, CA.
Friends received Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 460 Lincoln Ave., Bellevue, where a Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held at 11:30 a.m.

Marie M. “Twink” Hamm
Marie M. “Twink” Hamm, 70, or Ross Township, died Saturday, August 25, 2018.
She was the daughter of the late Aaron and Priscilla Hamm; sister of Ben (Maureen) Hamm of Stafford, VA and John (Terri) Hamm of Ross Township; aunt of Katie (Charles) Constantine, Kyle Hamm and Charlie Hamm; great-aunt of Nathaniel Constantine; also survived by lifelong friends, Carolyn "Sis" Brickley and Donna Torrens.
Marie was a Bellevue High School graduate of 1966, she attended World Campus Afloat through Chapman College of California, from which she earned a bachelor of arts degree.

John Quatchak
John Quatchak, 67, formerly of West View, died Saturday, August 18, 2018.
He was the son of the late Robert R. and Harriet (Rohm) Quatchak; brother of the late Robert and Catherine Quatchak; survived by a niece and nephew and many cousins.
John was a member of Graphic Arts and Printers Union, and a member of Mensa. He was an avid collector of miniature trains and avid fan of classical music.

Brian Scott Crooks
Brian Scott Crooks, 48, of Bellevue, died unexpectedly on Saturday, August 18, 2018 after a long struggle with addiction.
He was the son of the late Richard C. and Veronica (Melisko) Crooks; father of Cassandra Andres and Kaylee Crooks; brother of Jeffrey Crooks and Denise Hilderbrand.

John R. Creedon Sr.
John R. Creedon Sr., 82, formerly of Manchester and Avalon, died Saturday, August 25, 2018.
He was the husband of 62 years to Edith (Lugaila) Creedon; father of John R. (Nancy) Creedon, Jr., Joyce (Robert) Spirko and the late Michael P. Creedon; brother of the late Jacquelyn Wanniger; grandfather of Jason Creedon, Natalie Cunningham, Amber Schad, Michael Creedon, Rachael, Cody and Kelsey Schad; great-grandfather of Jordan, A.J., Cadence, Camren, Charlotte, Chase, Rylie and Payton; also survived by numerous other family members.
