John Connolly Jr.
John “J” Wray Connolly Jr., of Ohio Township died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Connolly; five children, Claire Stafford and her husband Marty, Paul Connolly and his wife Heidi, Mark Connolly and his wife Cindy, Chris Connolly and his wife Lynne and Michael Connolly and his wife Christine; two siblings, David Connolly and his wife Cooky and Patricia Gaus and her husband Edwin; 12 grandchildren, Sara, Daniel, Justin, Kevin, Cara, Kathryn, Kristen, Allison and Will Connolly, Meghan, Ryan and Matthew Stafford; and two great-granddaughters, Maggie and Grace Somich.

Anne Jackson
Anne R. Kutcher Jackson, 93, of Bellevue, wife of the late Charles H. Jackson, died Monday, Aug. 24, 2009.
Mrs. Jackson had worked at Suburban General Hospital.
She is survived by two sons, Charles J. Jackson of Bellevue and Jay R. Jackson of Birdsboro, PA; two sisters, Dorothy Diel and Janet McGurgan; nieces and nephews; and grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Mary Kutcher; and seven siblings, Margaret Zapf, Mary Schutte, Frank, Joseph, Anthony, George and John Kutcher.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue, where a blessing service was held on Thursday. Burial was in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery.

John Weber
John “Jack” Harry Weber, 77, of Ohio Township, died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009.
Mr. Weber served in the military. He was a mechanic for United Airlines and a trustee at Fellowship Baptist Church. He enjoyed traveling and playing cards.
He is survived by his wife, June Lee Weber; five children, Cindy Hills and her husband Jim, Linda Ongman and her husband Keith, John Weber and his wife Christine, Jay Weber and Leann Metz and her husband Jeff; three siblings, Bill and Sam Weber and Ruth Porter; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Hill and Lois Groeneveid; and nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, North Hills, where services were held on Saturday. Donations are suggested to his church at 3151 Conway Wallrose Road, Baden, PA 15005.

Elva Irvin
Elva Irvin, 82, of Bellevue, wife of the late George Irvin, died Thursday, Aug. 20, 2009.
She is survived by her brother, Carl Asche; her grandson, Robin Irvin; her niece, Linda Asche; and two nephews, Ray and Glenn Asche. She was preceded in death by her son, George Irvin.
There was no visitation. A committal service was held in Uniondale Cemetery on Monday. Arrangements were made by the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon.

Richard Stephany
Richard F. Stephany of Bellevue died Friday, Aug. 21, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Stephany; three children, Christopher Stephany and his wife Diane, Laura Stephany and Michael Stephany and his wife Laura; seven siblings, Regis Stephany and his wife Charlotte, Howard Stephany and his wife Mary Jane, Patricia Reinhart, Leonard Stephany and his wife Nancy, Carol Melvin and her husband Jim, Linda Haas and her husband Rick and Paul Stephany and his wife Christine; and five grandchildren, Jennifer, Courtney, Bryan, Kylie and Madelyn. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Madeline Stephany; and his brother, Raymond Stephany.
Friends were received at Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral mass was held in the Church of the Assumption on Monday.

E. Dale McCoy
E. Dale McCoy, 84, of Emsworth, died Friday, Aug. 21, 2009.
Mr. McCoy was a U.S. Air Force veteran having served with the 8th Air Force during World War II. He completed 24 missions as a tail gunner on B-17s. He was a member of Masonic and veterans' organizations.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Thompson Ramsey McCoy; three children, Dale Lee McCoy and his wife Debbie of Toronto, OH, Dale Charles McCoy and his wife Wendy of Philadelphia, PA and Sandra McCoy and her husband Don Frye of Chicago, IL; his sister, Norma Maxon of St. Marys, OH; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Avalon, where services were held on Wednesday. Burial was in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Memorial contributions are suggested to Emsworth U.P. Church, 73 Hiland Ave., Emsworth, PA 15202.

Mary Yankovic
Mary I. Fornauf Yankovic, 89, of North Hills, wife of the late Edward J. Yankovic, died Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009.
She is survived by five children, Leonard Yankovic and his wife Erin, Jack P. Yankovic, Carol Borriello and her husband Gus, Joan McCune and her husband Brian and Eileen Finley and her husband Butch; two siblings, Raymond Fornauf of Cranberry Township and Dolores Quinn of Sheridan; eight grandchildren, Ian, Eric, Brian, Amy, Nola, Adam, Beth and Shannon; eight great-grandchildren, Cody, Gavin, Cameron, Nolan, Tessa, Tyler, Alaina and Marina; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three siblings, Dorothea Babcox, Frank and Robert Fornauf.

Madeline Brunner
Madeline Brunner of Holiday, FL, formerly of Pittsburgh and wife of the late Edward J. Brunner, died Thursday, Aug. 20, 2009.
She is survived by her son, Michael J. Brunner; her daughter-in-law, Marita Brunner; two granddaughters, Vanessa and Romayne; and a great-grandson, Dustin. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathleen Ann Brunner.

Howard Killmeyer
Howard W. Killmeyer, husband of the late Anna May Hennessey Killmeyer, died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009.
Mr. Killmeyer was founder and owner of Killmeyer Accounting and Tax Service in the North Boroughs for 40 years. He had been president of the Lions Club and a board member of Holy Family Institute.
He is survived by four children, Karen Krummert, Dale H. Killmeyer and his wife Debbie, Kimberly Stanley and her husband Scott and Douglas Killmeyer; his daughter-in-law, Susan; four siblings, Gloria Schmiedlin and her husband Red, June Kirby, Nellie Campbell and her husband Don and Tom Killmeyer and his wife Linda; 11 grandchildren, Louis Krummert, Christen and Jason Killmeyer, Matthew Krummert, Steven, Amanda, Christine and Nicole Killmeyer, Brian Krummert, Cody and Carly Killmeyer; his brother-in-law, Babe Iellimo; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Killmeyer; and his sister, Kate Iellimo.
