Eleanor Lundberg
Eleanor Y. Yoders Lundberg, 86, of Bellevue, wife of the late George C. Lundberg, died Monday, Aug. 2, 2010.
Mrs. Lundberg was a longtime member of Bellevue Central United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir for many years. She enjoyed bowling with the Morning Glories bowling league.
She is survived by her son, Carl Lundberg and his wife Chris; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five siblings, Warden and Harry Yoders, Bertha Comstock, Dorothy Trimble and Florella Myers.
Friends were received at H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, Ross Township., where services were held on Monday. Donations are suggested to Gateway Hospice, 9380 McKnight Rd, Suite 107, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
James Mages
James A. “Jim” Mages, 83, of Ohio Township died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010.
Mr. Mages was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He worked at J&L Steel (LTV Steel) for more than 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mercedes Musher Mages; five children, Denise Evans and her husband Frank, Daniel Mages and his wife Olga Lucia, Michele Billeter and her husband Jim, Scott Mages and Shawn Mages and his wife Carrie; his sister, June Flynn; eight grandchildren, Heather Kracklauer, Matt Evans, Eric Mages, Ben Mages, Dr. Lisa Mages-Haskins, Joyce Homiak, Kristy Billeter and Jim Billeter; four great-grandchildren; and nieces,nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by two siblings, Bill Mages and Ruth Franz.
Friends were received at T.B. Devlin Funeral Home, North Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. John Neumann Church on Saturday.

Phillip Malarkey
Phillip J. “Chic” Malarkey of Brighton Heights died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Malarkey; four stepchildren, Jim, Aaron and his wife Janessa and Sarah Obringer and Katie Milo and her husband Chad; two siblings, Mike Malarkey and Frances Malarkey; and five step-grandchildren, Armani, Carmelo, Kayla, Saani and Isabella. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Anna Malarkey.
Friends were received at Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral service was held in Ascension Lutheran Church on Saturday.

Anna Stapleton
Anna M. Kaine Stapleton of Brighton Heights, wife of the late James H. Stapleton, died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010.
Mrs. Stapleton had been a Girl Scout leader of Troop 1065 and a board member of the 27 Ward, 13 District.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda “Gene” Stapleton; two nieces, Mary Rae Greer and Rose DiVilly; grandnieces and grandnephews; and her pet, Harpo. She was preceded in death by her parents, John J. and Margaret M. Kaine; and her brother, Raymond Kaine and his wife Mary.
Friends were received at Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side. Funeral services were held in Brighton Heights Lutheran Church on Saturday. Contributions are suggested to the Assumption Theater Guild, Sue Babjack, 9117 Lancelot Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15237.

Andrew Turk Sr.
Andrew J. Turk Sr. of Brighton Heights died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Puhac Turk; three children, Marie Dobransky, Andrew J. Turk Jr. and Joseph R. Turk; five siblings, Geraldine Black, Peter Turk, Helen Irwin, Edward and David Turk; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew F. and Helen Turk; and his brother, Martin Turk.
Friends were received at Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral mass was held in Risen Lord Church on Wednesday.

R.T. “Ram-Rod” Lewis Sr. of Avalon died Friday, July 30, 2010.
