Dorothy Drucis
W. Dorothy Drucis of Avalon, wife of the late Thomas Drucis, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2012.
Mrs. Drucis grew up on the North Side and attended Oliver High School before graduating from Duff's Business School. She worked in the engineering department at Crucible Steel and for Derby & Co. She then became a real estate agent, working for Young Agency, Bernhard Realty, Northwood Realty and Stonebridge Real Estate.
She leaves two sons, Thomas and his wife Kristin and Michael and his wife Kim; five grandchildren, Abigail Rose, Lillian Grace, Connor Michael, Gavin Christopher and Jack Thomas; a brother, William Weber and his wife Margaret; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Marie Cullen.
Family and friends will be received today, Friday, 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., at Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Sacred Heart Church, Emsworth. Interment will follow at Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the National Kidney Foundation, 3109 Forbes Ave., Suite 101, Pittsburgh

Clara Bishop
Clara E. Bishop, 92, of Ohio Township, wife of the late Harry C. Bishop, died Thursday, August 2, 2012.
She is survived by four children, Merle Bishop, Billy Franciscus, Catherine Salm and Russell Franciscus; four brothers, Earl, Clyde, Ralph and Kenneth Quillen; 11 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters Dorothy Andartis and Thelma Keller.
Friends were received at Neely Funeral Home, Glenshaw. Services were held on Monday.

Kathy Keller
Kathy A. Keller, 52, of Emsworth, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2012.
She is survived by her father, Donald Keller; and aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Keller.
There was no visitation. A memorial mass was held in Sacred Heart Church in Emsworth on Thursday. Arrangements were made by the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon.

Wayne Kenneweg
Wayne Kenneweg of North Hills died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012.
Mr. Kenneweg was a World War II historian. He was retired after 25 years of service with Bristol Myers-Squibb, where he was a business territory manager. He was a longtime member of Shannopin Country Club and an avid golfer.
He is survived by his wife, Terry Kenneweg; his daughter, Kellie Kenneweg and her fiance' Kurt Dombkowski; his brother-in-law, William Brown and his wife Janice; his sister-in-law, Denise Brown; his uncle, Frank Mawhinney and his wife Billie; and uncle of Allison, Eric and Lexi. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jay and Lucille Kenneweg.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. Funeral services were held in Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church, Wexford, on Wednesday. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to his church at 670 Pleasant Hills Rd., Wexford, PA 15090.

H. Virginia Kortz
H. Virginia "Ginny" Kortz, 99, of Avalon, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2012.
Mrs. Kortz was active in the Church of the Assumption Christian Mothers and Make-A-Wish Foundation, as well as various other organizations. She was named RSVP Volunteer of the Year in 2007.
She is survived by her son, Bernard J. Kortz and his wife Susan; two siblings, Dorothy Carroll and John Spuhler and his wife Debora; and two granddaughters, Julianne Eilinsfeld and her husband Stephen and Victoria Kortz and her finance Joshua Diller; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four siblings, Mary Abel, Ruth Spuhler, Karl Spuhler and Thomas Shell.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Church of the Assumption on Saturday at 10 a.m. Memorials are suggested to her church at 45 N. Sprague Ave., Bellevue, PA 15202 or Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Mary Thompson
Mary Margaret Thompson, 70, of Emsworth, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2012.
She is survived by four children, Mary Jean Thompson, Margaret Francis and her husband Trevor, Sharon Thompson and her husband Denzil Harper and John Thompson and his wife Amber Haney; three granddaughters, Terri, Stephanie and Ashley; and two great-grandchildren, William and D.J.; and her nephew, Brian Jacobs. She was preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth June Jacobs.
Friends will be received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue, today, Friday, 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m., where services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m.
