William Kisling Sr.
William R. Kisling Sr., 78, of Bellevue, died Wednesday, June 29 2011.
Mr. Kisling was a longtime member of Northgate Church. He was an avid sportsman and outsdoorsman.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy M. Kisling; four sons, John R. Kisling and his wife Jean, Thomas W. Kisling and his wife Toni, William R. Kisling Jr. and Ty Kisling; two sisters, Irene Roof and her husband Jack and Virginia Klimko and her husband Edward; and five grandchildren, Kelly, Brian, Zachary, Justin and Tyler Kisling.
Friends were received at McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Avalon, where services were held on Saturday.

David Naberezny Sr.
David Michael "Nebo" Naberezny Sr. died Wednesday, June 29, 2011.
Mr. Naberezny was an ironworker with Local #3 for nine years. He had been a correctional officer at the Allegheny County Jail for 25 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Naberezny; two children, Tara Kurta and her husband Mike Jr. and David Naberezny and his wife Wendy; two grandchildren, Mikayla Ann Kurta and Hailey Marie Naberezny; his aunt, Eva Hlovchiec; in-laws Ron and Rosemarie Muller and Carol Pryor Urland and her husband Larry; his grandnephew, Jared Pryor; and cousins.He was the uncle of Dylan and Carey Muller, Jason, Jenny and Brian Pryor; He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Helen Naberezny.
Friends were received at Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side. Funeral services were held in St. George Ukrainian Church, Brighton Heights, on Saturday.

Ruth Raimondo
Ruth Hogarty Raimondo, wife of the late Philip Raimondo, died.
She is survived by dear friends, Kay Karanzas and family and Patti Bezila and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Myrtle Stillings Hogarty.
Friends were received at O'Brien Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral mass was held in Risen Lord Church on Friday.

Joseph Szewczyk
Joseph S. Szewczyk, 66, of Bellevue, died Wednesday, June 29, 2011.
Mr. Szewczyk worked at Kerotest Manufacturing for 39 years.
He is survived by his wife, Annette Szewczyk; his brother, Anthony Szewczyk and his wife Margaret; two grandsons, Dwayne Regrut and his wife Jade and Douglas Regrut; and two great-granddaughters, Kimberly and Angelina Regrut. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Regrut.
Friends were received at the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon, where a blessing service was held on Saturday. Burial was in Uniondale Cemetery.

Dorothy Chmiel
Dorothy E. Vroble Chmiel, 83, of Crafton Heights, died Saturday, July 2, 2011.
Mrs. Chmiel had volunteered at Kane Hospital. She also had worked at Kaufmann's department store. She was a member of the choir at St. Philip Church, its Christian Mothers and the Catholic Daughters of America.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Chmiel; seven children, Bernadine Swanzy and her husband Jack of Fredericksburg, TX, Charlene Pettigrew and her husband Keith of Alpharetta, GA, Mary Georgette Kastory and her husband Dave of Avalon, Joe Chmiel Jr. of Pittsburgh, Ann Hrabik and her husband Joe of North Fayette, PA, Barbara Smith and her husband Cliff of Needham, MA and Dorothy Chmiel of Pennsbury Village, PA; her sister, Mary Katherine Langor; 11 grandchildren, David Paul Kastory and his wife Angie, Michael Swanzy, Beth Kelly and her husband Scott, Jenny Swanzy, Erica Pettigrew, Stephen Pettigrew, Madeline Hrabik, Allie Hrabik,Emily Smith, Harrison Smith and Amanda Kastory; her great-grandson, Luke Kelly; and nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Mary Frances Vroble; her sister, Marge Festog; and two brothers, Bill and Steve Vroble.

Scott Fornauf
Scott L. Fornauf, 60, of Bellevue died Monday, June 27, 2011.
Mr. Fornauf was an avid sports fan, especially of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Fornauf; two sons, Dean Fornauf and his wife Alexcia and Rudy Fornauf and his wife Crystal; four siblings, Donna Fornauf Milton and her husband Jim of Marietta, GA, Robert Fornauf and his wife Debbie of Clearfield, PA, Sandra Flynn and her husband Bernard and Rhonda O'Connell and her husband Richard of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren, Katrina, Leah, Jayna, Dean Jr., Silas and Seana; three stepchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Daryl Fornauf and his wife Rose and Dean Fornauf and his wife Tracy.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue, where a memorial service was held on Tuesday.

Marjorie Little
Marjorie Maria Taylor Little, 82, of Bellevue, wife of the late Daniel F. Little, died Saturday, July 3, 2011 in West Hills Health and Rehab Center.
Mrs. Little was a graduate of Mt. Assisi Academy. She was a longtime employee of Murex Welding, now Airco. She was a member of the Church of the Assumption.
She is survived by two siblings, Loretta T. Herrle and William P. Taylor and his wife Constance; five grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Eileen Taylor; nieces, nephews; and dear friends, Deborah H. Day, Marjorie M. Reed and Edward Herrle Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl V. and Loretta Schmitt Taylor; her step-daughter, Sally Little Danyo; and four brothers, Bernard, Richard, Earl and Raymond Taylor.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Assumption on Wednesday. Memorial donations are suggested to Marian Hall Home, 934 Forest Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15202.

Timothy Martin
Timothy K. Martin, 68, of Falls Church, VA, formerly of the North Side, died Thursday, June 30, 2011.
Mr. Martin was a graduate of North Catholic High School and Duquesne University. He served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his brother, Charles R. Martin of Saginaw, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond E. and Ruth Maier Martin.
There was no visitation and burial was private in Uniondale Cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon.

John Bordas
John Bordas, 89, of Ben Avon, formerly of Stowe Township, died Monday, July 4, 2011.
Mr. Bordas was a graduate of McKees Rocks High School and the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned a degree in education. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force in the India Burma Theater. He worked at Blaw-Knox Steel Co. and served as president of United Steelworkers Union. He taught math, science and social studies at Sto-Rox High School. He later served on the Sto-Rox school board. He also was the owner of the Happy Hour Bar in Moon Township for 20 years. He was an avid sports enthusiast. He enjoyed playing, watching and officiating sports. He was a PIAA sports official for basketball and football and a college football official for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Irene Budal Bordas; seven children, Karen Grzywinski and her husband Frank, Janet Fabin and her husband Ron, John M. Bordas, Robert Bordas and his wife Cindy, Eileen Strelick and her husband Mark, Carol Loutzenhiser and her husband Jim, and Michael Bordas and his wife Dee; and nine grandchildren, Brian Strelick, Matthew Grzywinski, Lauren and Adam Fabin, Emily and Luke Bordas, Marissa Bordas, Elise and Evan Loutzenhiser. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Susan Hubal Bordas; and five siblings, Michael and George Bordas, Mary Putas, Ann Conkle and an infant sister.

Lawrence Kannegieser
Lawrence W. Kannegieser, 76, of Bellevue, died Sunday, July 3, 2011.
Mr. Kannegieser was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a retired manager of Crest Tire in the North Hills. He was a longtime member and officer of Elks Lodge #339.
He is survived by his sister, Susan Clyde and her husband Robert; uncle of Sharon Fohl and David Clyde; five grandnephews, Anthony, Andrew and Adam Fohl, Mac and Connor Clyde; and dear friends, Norm and Nancy Taylor, David Taylor and his wife Jennifer, Diane Anderson, Douglas and Nathan Taylor, Andy Hasson and Ronnie Baldauf. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Mary Hamm Kannegieser; and his nephew, Robert Clyde and his wife Celeste.
Friends were received at Stephen M. Brady Funeral Home, North Side, where a blessing service was held on Wednesday. Burial was in Allegheny County Memorial Park with military honors.
