Alvin W. “Al” Eck
Alvin W. “Al” Eck, 77, of Avalon, formerly of Bellevue, died Sunday, July 1, 2018.
He was the husband of the late Mary Lou (Wolfe) Eck; father of William Eck, Jeff (Tracey) Eck, Michelle (Tom) Darabant and the late Thomas Eck (surviving spouse, Myra), Michael Eck and Chas Laubham; also survived by companion, Janet Crossland; grandfather of Andrew Joseph, Peter, Ginny, Phillip, Chad, Fred, Julia (Zack Hubert), Andrew Dalton, Moriah and Hunter; great-grandfather of Avery and Easton Hubert.
Al was a member of the N.S.B.A., the Knights of Columbus # 1400, an active member of Assumption Church and was a Eucharist Minister.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to Assumption Church.

Robert Russell Martin
Robert Russell Martin, of Avalon, died Saturday, June 30, 2018.
He was predeceased by his parents, Elliott and Elizabeth Martin. Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Ruth.
Bob was retired from Equitable Gas Company where he was Assistant Corporate Secretary. He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Perrysville. He was an avid golfer.
Donations are suggested to the Good Samaritan Hospice, Concordia Lutheran Ministries, 134 Marwood Rd., Cabot, PA 16023.

Robert J. McGinnity Jr.
Robert J. McGinnity Jr., 87, of Avalon, died Monday, July 2, 2018.
He was the husband of 67 years to Shirley (Moran) McGinnity. Father of Gary (Christine) McGinnity, Scott (Susan) McGinnity and Laura (Anthony) Dubato; grandfather of Heather (Steve) Rosfeld, Ian McGinnity, Nicholas (Jeanette) Dubato, Michael (Julie) McGinnity, Anthony (Shelby) Dubato, Megan McGinnity, and Kaitlin Dubato; great-grandfather of Anne Rosfeld and Matthew McGinnity; uncle of Doug (Lala) Miller and Cheryl Miller; brother of the late Sally (the late David) Miller.
Bob served in the National Guard, served as an auxiliary policeman for the Borough of Avalon and also served on the Avalon Borough Council. Bob was also was a Civil War enthusiast and enjoyed attending Civil War events.
