Dale Heffley
Dale D. Heffley, 65, of Ross Township, formerly of Avalon, died Wednesday, July 21, 2010.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy "Peg" Heffley; his daughter, Catherine Oliverio and her husband Bill; two grandchildren, Salvatore "Sal" and Catherine "Katie" Oliverio; his sister-in-law, Nancy Bevan; his brother-in-law, John Wedlock and his wife Pat; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Catherine Heffley; and two brothers, James Heffley and Dee Carrick.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Cyril of Alexandria Church on Saturday. Burial was in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to his church at 3854 Brighton Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15212.

Iva Hollobaugh
Iva L. Hollobaugh of Brighton Heights, wife of the late George Hollobaugh, died Wednesday, July 21, 2010.
Mrs. Hollobaugh was a longtime member of West View United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Hollobaugh; her brother, Herbert H. Campbell; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Ida Hartman; and her brother, Raymond G. Hartman.
Friends were received at Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side, where services were held on Friday.

Joseph Bednar Jr.
Joseph Bednar Jr., 70, of Avalon, died Friday, July 23, 2010.
Mr. Bednar was the owner of Cuts 'n Curls beauty salon in Avalon.
He is survived by two children, Matthew J. Bednar and his wife Stephanie and Melissa E. Bednar; his brother, Lawrence Bednar; his granddaughter, Laurel Bednar; and his companion, Barbara Schlessman.
Friends were received at McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Avalon, where services were held on Monday. Memorial contributions are suggested to Spencer and Friends Animal Rescue, 515 California Ave., Avalon, PA 15202.

David Zdobinski
Davie Vincent Zdobinski, 66, of Brighton Heights, died Thursday, July 22, 2010.
He is survived by his son, David Daniel Zdobinski; two brothers, Bob Zdobinski and his wife Barb and Harry Zdobinski and his wife Pat; two grandchildren, Colton and Dhara; his former wife, Catherine Yakima Weaver; and nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass was held in the Church of the Assumption on Wednesday.

Agnes Vignale
Agnes J. Petro Vignale, 90, of West View, wife of the late Joseph S. Vignale, died Monday, July 26, 2010.
She is survived by two sons, Robert J. Vignale and his wife Pat Rennebeck and Joseph W. Vignale and his wife Kelly; and three grandchildren, Poppy Vignale, Sarah Vignale and Thomas Rennebeck.
Friends were received at H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, Ross Township. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Cyril of Alexandria Church on Friday.

Carey Blazek
Cary Blazek, 61, of Apache Junction, AZ, formerly of Avalon, died July 15.
Mr. Blazek was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, gave 25 years of service to the Pittsburgh Brewing Company. He is survived by his wife Sandra Blazek; daughters Kim Ballard and Mary Nunez; son Andrew Blazek; his father Richard; sisters Trish Kenny and Ann Seeley; brother Richard Blazek and grand children Arron and Adalyn Nunez.
