Edward Moore
Edward McClelland Moore, 94, of Bellevue, husband of the late Dawn (Mary Ellen) Moore, died Thursday, July 14, 2011.
He is survived by six children, Joseph Moore and his wife Joanne, Charlene Amend and her husband Dennis, Daniel Moore, Thomas Moore and his wife June, Patricia Hallam and her husband Patrick and Mary Ellen McDonough and her husband Daniel; 15 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren; his daughter-in-lae Elvira Moore. He was preceded in death by his son, Lawrence E. Moore.
Friends were received at McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Avalon, where services were held on Monday. Burial was in Allegheny County Memorial Park.

Genevieve Gilzynski
Genevieve J. Gilzynski of Bellevue died Wednesday, July 20, 2011.
Ms. Gilzynski was a retired administrative secretary for Pittsburgh Hearing, Speech and Deaf Services. She was a member of the Church of the Assumption and the Polish National Alliance.
She is survived by five nieces and nephews, Peter "Sonny" Makis and his wife Linda, Patricia "Patty" Bettua, Joanne Nickels and her husband William, Karen Stayduhar and her husband William and William "Bill" Gil and his wife Gail; and 12 grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Agatha Gilzynski; four siblings, Genevieve Gilzynski, Wanda Makis, Joseph Gilzynski and Stanley Gil; and her nephew-in-law, Thomas Bettua.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Assumption on Monday. Burial was in Resurrection Cemetery, Moon Township.

Kathleen Sprung
Kathleen P. Sprung, 56, of Bellevue, wife of the late Paul V. Sprung, died Friday, July 15, 2011.
She is survived by two sons, Paul Brandon Sprung and Steven Thomas Sprung.
There was no visitation. A memorial mass was held in the Church of the Assumption on Tuesday. Arrangements were made by Henney, Bradwell and Nirella Funeral Home, Carnegie.

Peter Hall
Peter Hall, 89, of Avalon, husband of the late Mary Konecko Hall, died Saturday, July 23, 2011.
Mr. Hall was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, having served during World War II in the Fleet Marine Force in the Asiatic Pacific. He worked for Allegheny County and was justice of the peace for Avalon Borough.
He is survived by two sons, Wayne Hall and his wife Kathy of McCandless and Donald Hall and his wife Marge of Ross Township; his sister, Mary Eberhart; five grandchildren, Becky Darney and her husband Daryl, Lisa Halstead and her husband Tony, M. Sgt. Donald Hall Jr. and his wife Luciana, Susan Priore and Michael Hall and his wife Bryana; and 12 great-grandchildren, Keegan and Layton Hall, Drew, Mara and Eire Darney, Abby and Emma Halstead, Lauren, Alec, Brendan and Alicia Priore and Julianne Hall. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Mara Lynn Hall.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A funeral service was held in St. George Ukrainian Church, Brighton Heights, on Tuesday.

Martha Louden
Martha Smith Louden, 96, of Avalon, wife of the late Robert Louden, died Saturday, July 23, 2011.
She is survived by her dear friend, Meryl Powers. She was preceded in death by her son, Bruce R. Louden; and two siblings, Daniel Smith and Jean S. Hansen.
Friends were received at the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon, until the time of services on Tuesday. Burial was in Allegheny County Memorial Park.

Joseph Ponsoll
Joseph Ponsoll, 69, of Ben Avon, died Wednesday, July 20, 2011.
Mr. Ponsoll earned a masters degree in social work at the University of Pittsburgh. He worked in the social services field for private and government entities. He enjoyed writing poetry.
He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Fountain Ponsoll; his daughter, Sara; and two brothers, John and Sam Ponsoll and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Martha Ponsoll.
Friends were received at O'Brien Funeral Home, North Side, until a prayer service was held on Tuesday. Donations are suggested to the American Lung Association or the Salvation Army.
