Theodore Andartes
Theodore J. Andartes, formerly of Emsworth and husband of the late Dorothy Andartes, died Thursday, July 8, 2010.
Mr. Andartes was a Mason and member of the North Hills Lodge. He was a former elder at Mt. Nebo Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by five children, Gloria Moss, Barbara Fonzi, Donna Faynor, John Andartes and Dorothy Derbish; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Andartes and Madeline Britsch.
Friends were received at Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side. Funeral services were held in Mt. Nebo Presbyterian Church on Monday.

Michael Stercho Jr.
Michael J. Stercho Jr., 35, of Emsworth, formerly of Wexford, died Thursday, July 8, 2010.
He is survived by his parents, Michael J. and Kristine Stercho; two siblings, Kathryn Lovas and her husband Dale and J.C. Mahan and his wife Jennifer; and his grandmother, Genevieve Stercho. He was the uncle of Dale Lovas III, Fiona Mahan and Calder Mahan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Stercho.

Ralph Deramo
Ralph L. Deramo of Pittsburgh died Saturday, July 10, 2010.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores Guilanda Deramo; his son, Thomas R. Deramo of Maryland; two sisters; a sister-in-law; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Donata Deramo.
Friends were received at Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral mass was held in Risen Lord Church on Wednesday.

Betty Miller
Mary E. "Betty" Menigat Miller of Bellevue died Saturday, July 10, 2010.
Mrs. Miller was a member of the Church of the Assumption for more than 50 years and past president of its Christian Mothers.
She is survived by her husband, John G. "Jack" Miller; seven children, Lawrence J. Miller and his wife Patti, Rev. Robert J. Miller, Carol Heil and her husband Roy, Marty Miller, Paul Miller and his wife Jackie, Elizabeth McGuire and her husband Brendan and Patrick Miller and his wife Tina; 15 grandchildren, Sarah, Brad, Eric, Garrett, Dan, Justin, Brian, Julie, Katie, Martin, Jack, Patrick, Mia, Nina and Nicholas; nieces and nephews; she was grammy to Ian, Danielle and A.J.. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Kathryn Menigat; and her sister, Kathryn Joann Brady.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Assumption on Thursday. Memorials are suggested to her church at 45 N. Sprague Ave., Bellevue, PA 15202, Assumption School or Assumption St. Vincent DePaul Society.

Thomas Allen Jr.
Thomas Roy Allen Jr., 73, of Sewickley Heights, husband of the late Carol Ann Muhey Allen and Kate Trumpler Allen, died Saturday, July 10, 2010 in Cranberry Passavant Hospital.
He is survived by two children, Susan Van Voorhis and her husband Michael of Wexford and Charles E.C. Allen of Ambridge; and his sister, Gertrude "Trudy" Lithgow and her husband Dick. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Roy Sr. and Wilma Wolff Allen; and four sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Dolan, Susan Jean Williams, Beryl Brown and Patricia "Pat" Goodwin.
Friends were received at Richard D. Cole Funeral Home, Sewickley. Funeral services will be held in Christ Church at Grove Farm, Ohio Township., on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Allegheny Cemetery.

Emma Gorski
Emma Elizabeth Griffin Gorski, 86, formerly of Spring Hill and Bellevue, died Saturday, July 10, 2010.
Mrs. Gorski was retired from Beitler-McKee Optical Co.
She is survived by her daughter, Diana Catherine Hazlett and her husband George of Wexford; two brothers, James Griffin and his wife Carolyn and Thomas Griffin and his wife Karen; two grandchildren, Patrick George Hazlett and his wife Lisa and Carrie Lin Hibbard and her husband Greg; and three great-grandchildren, Patrick Jr. and Parker Hazlett and Sydney Hibbard. She was preceded in death by her parents, James A. and Emma Griffin.
Friends were received at Simons Funeral Home, North Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Alexis Church on Thursday.
Evelyn Schmitt
Evelyn E. Goldbach Schmitt, 82, of Ross Township., formerly of Wexford, died Monday, July 12, 2010.
Mrs. Schmitt was involved in numerous activities and volunteer work at Vincentian Home.
She is survived by three daughters, Annette Langman and her husband Don of Ohio Township., Karen Schmitt and Diane Turner, both of Pittsburgh; two siblings, Arthur Goldbach and Virginia Henry; two grandchildren, Michael Langman and Laura Seitz; and nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at T.B. Devlin Funeral Home, North Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Sebastian Church on Friday. Contributions are suggested to Vincentian Home.
