Russell Bookser
Russell Noel Bookser, 63, of Denton, TX, formerly of Pittsburgh and the husband of the late Debra Keast Bookser, died Friday, May 22, 2015 in Presbyterian Hospital, Denton.
Mr. Bookser was retired from Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). He was a member of Stanfield Masonic Lodge in Denton. He was a former member of Brighton Heights Lutheran Church, Laurel Gardens Volunteer Fire Co. and a social member of Sgt. Joseph D. Caskey American Legion Post #80, all in Pittsburgh.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Crowley Bookser; two siblings, Marilynn Berner and her husband Kenneth and Michael Bookser and his wife Margaret; a niece, Kelly Ross and her husband Michael; two nephews, Christopher Berner and his wife Heather and Michael Bookser and his wife Katie; and seven grandnieces and grandnephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Bookser.
A memorial service will be held later. Memorials are suggested to Stanfield Masonic Lodge or a favorite charity. Arrangements were made by DeBerry Funeral Directors of Denton, TX.

Eileen Cantella
Eileen Shaughnessy Cantella of Glenshaw, formerly of Brighton Heights, died Monday, May 25, 2015.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Cantella; her son, Sean Cantella and his wife Suus; three siblings, Chuck Shaughnessy, Pat Shaughnessy and his wife Claudia and Erma Ward and her husband Ed; two grandsons, Xavier and Quincy; and four brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Rick Cantella and his wife Val, Mike Cantella and his wife Brenda, Mary Ann Cantella and Diane Cantella; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Teresa of Avila Church on Saturday.

Dr. William Keane
Dr. William D. Keane, 72, of White Oak, died Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in UPMC McKeesport.
Dr. Keane retired from his House Call Dental Practice in 2008. He served patients in nursing homes, hospitals and private residences with his wife as assistant. He formerly owned dental practices in Mt. Washington, Bellevue and Monroeville. He earned a degree in anesthesiology at the University of Pittsburgh and was a graduate of the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry. He was a member of the American and Pennsylvania Dental Associations, Schiller Institute, McKeesport Community Life, Jewish Community Center, McKeesport YMCA and Bally's Health Club in Penn Hills. He was an avid golfer.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Warner Keane; his sister, Marion Wilson and her husband Bert of London, Ontario, Canada; his mother-in-law, Madeline Joyce of McKeesport; two nieces, Cathy and Jenny; and a nephew, John. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Helen Sargeant Keane.
There was no visitation or services. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Schiller Institute or St. Patrick Church in McKeesport. Arrangements were made by Willig Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Flora Lichauer
Flora M. "Suzie" Bosenberg Lichauer, wife of the late George C. Lichauer, died Sunday, May 24, 2015.
Mrs. Lichauer was a member of American Legion Post #116 and a volunteer at H.J. Heinz III Veteran's Hospital in Aspinwall for 20 years.
She is survived by five children, Paul, George J., Anna Mae, Elmer and Beverly; two siblings, Erma Hyde and George Bosenberg. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Ellen; and her brother, William.
Friends were received at Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side, where services were held on Wednesday. Burial was in Highwood Cemetery.

Marie Gaver
Marie M. Gaver, formerly of Bellevue and wife of the late Earl Gaver, died Wednesday,May 27, 2015.
Mrs. Gaver had been secretary to the superintendent of North Hills High School until she retired in 1979. She also worked for Care at Kaufmann's department store for 57 years. She was a longtime member of the Church of the Assumption, the CD of A Court Bellevue and Northgate AARP.
She is survived by nieces, nephews and dear friends, Marcia and Steve Mosolansky. She was preceded in death by her brother, Francis Gelzheiser.
Friends were received at Little Sisters of the Poor, where a Mass of Christian Burial was held in the chapel on Saturday. Burial was in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery. Margaret Winter
Margaret P. Hayduk Winter, 94, of Ben Avon, wife of the late John B. "Jack" Winter, died Wednesday, May 27, 2015.
Mrs. Winter was a member of Emsworth AARP. She had been a beautician for many years.
She is survived by three children, Patricia Jean Helbig and her husband Richard, John David "Dave" Winter and his wife Susan and Robert Mark "Bob" Winter; two sisters, Rosemarie Glassbrenner and her husband Rich and Claudia Hayduk; five grandchildren, Rich Helbig, J.D. and Beth Winter, John Winter and his wife Kim and Katie Winter; a great-grandson, Nolan Winter; and nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Suzanna Abolovic Hayduk; her stepmother, Helen Temer Hayduk; her grandson, Ben Winter; and her sister, Helen J. Kralosky.

Olga Lapiska
Olga T. Lapiska, 91, wife of the late Joseph Lapiska, died Thursday, May 28, 2015.
Mrs. Lapiska was a Bell Telephone Pioneer.
She is survived by three children, Barbara J. Sicilla and her husband Charles, Janice Giordano and her husband James and Donald J. Lapiska and his wife Rachel; four grandchildren, Leslie and Christopher Sicilla, Casey and Caryn Giordano; and a great-grandson, Gino Bowie. She was preceded in death by three siblings, Phillip R. Tolusic, Eleanor Cain and Elsie Heck.
Friends were received at Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral mass was held in Risen Lord Church on Monday.

Frances Stetor
Frances M. Mayak Stetor of Franklin Park, wife of the late Joseph Stetor, died Sunday, May 24, 2015.
Mrs. Stetor had been a nurse's aide at Vincentian Home. She enjoyed reading about world events.
She is survived by eight children, Carrie Hinchberger and her husband Bill of Mechanicsburg, PA, Mary Shapiro and her husband Bernie of Franklin Park, Cathy Wisniewski and her husband Dennis of Marshall Township, Peg Somerville and her husband Jim of Bradford Park, Joe Stetor of Lansing, MI, Jim Stetor and his wife Deb of Franklin Park, Bob Stetor and his wife LuAnn of Ohio Township and Beth Martinez and her husband Stan of Douglasville, GA; her son-in-law, Bill Swain; her sister, Mabel Cruikshank of FL; 28 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jeanne Swain; her parents, Victor and Hanna Rupnik Mayak; and four siblings, Margaret Sulkowski, Leedy Bokach, Victor Mayak and Ray Mayak.

Charles Grosick
Charles R. Grosick, husband of the late Anna Grosick, died Sunday, May 24, 2015.
He is survived by two sons, Glenn Grosick and his wife Connie of Florence, SC and David Grosick and his wife Tracy of West Chester, OH; his brother, William Grosick of Canton, OH; and seven grandchildren, Benjamin, Rachel, Abby, Josh, Natalie, Joseph and Jackson Grosick.

Destiny Galuska-Zoller
Destiny Christine Galuska-Zoller, 12, died Friday, May 29, 2015.
She is survived by her parents, Anthony A. Zoller and Jessica Lynn Galuska; two siblings, Miley and Bailey Zoller; her grandparents, Albert and Joy Zoller and John and Kim Galuska; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

Marleen Wheatley
Marleen Wheatley, 81, of Mars, PA, formerly of Spring Garden and Bellevue and wife of the late Jasper "Jay" Wheatley, died Saturday, May 30, 2015.
She is survived by two daughters, Merrily A. Wheatley Keast and Marisa J. Wheatley Knichel; and two grandsons, William Knichel and his wife Toby and Adin Knichel. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Emma Dalton; her sister, Ruth Robertson; and two sons-in-law, Shawn P. Keast and William E. Knichel.

M. Louise Basinger
M. Louise "Dutch" Ankerbrand Basinger, 81, of Bellevue, wife of the late Henry "Eddie" Basinger, died Friday, May 29, 2015 in Little Sisters of the Poor.
She is survived by two children, Vicky Kovacs and her husband Joey of Bellevue and Nicky Basinger and his wife Barbara of Crestview, FL; two brothers, Harry Ankerbrand Jr. and Ray Ankerbrand; three grandchildren, Jonathan Kovacs and his wife Patty, David Kovacs and his wife Kristin and Amanda Watts and her husband Patrick; her great-granddaughter, Evelyn Blanche Kovacs; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son,Wesley Basinger; and four siblings, George Ankerbrand, Helen Bishop, Mae Byers and Shelby Hull.

Jesse Ecker Sr.
Jesse Root Ecker Sr., 82, of Avalon, died Monday, June 1, 2015.
Mr. Ecker was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was retired as a lineman at Conrail.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne Ecker; five children, Joseph F. Ecker and his wife Nancy of Ross Township, Jesse R. Ecker Jr. and his wife Anne of Shaler, Jean Kainia of Avalon, John Ecker and Janice Cushman and her husband Ron of Jacksonville, FL; three siblings, William Ecker, Joyce Ecker and Mary Lou McKinnon; 10 grandchildren, Sara, Melissa, Christina, Jesse Jr. and Jessica Ecker, Jason and James Kainia, Evan and Grace Cushman and Timmy McClain; and two great-grandsons, Colin Joseph "Scratch" Kirkpatrick and Anthony Laborers.

Rose Ann Hoehle
Rose Ann Londino Hoehle of Brighton Heights, wife of the late Earl Hoehle and Louis E. Londino, died Monday, May 25, 2015.
She is survived by two children, Louis F. Londino and his wife Carmela and Rochelle M. Miljus; four siblings, Georgianna DePhillips, James, Ernest and Louis Guerra; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph L.; her parents, Frank and Anna Rose Guerra; and seven siblings, Dominick, Joseph, Sam, Eugene, William and Anthony Guerra and Teresa Ranieri.
