Wilbert McSteen
Wilbert (Will) Regis McSteen, formerly of Ross Township, 87, went to his Lord on June 13, 2012 at Valley Care Masonic Center, Sewickley.
Left to honor his memory are his beloved wife of 62 years, Lorraine "Lori" Lucas McSteen, Masonic Village, Sewickley, PA; three daughters and two sons, faithful brother-in-law Tim Lucas, Glenshaw, PA and many other relatives and friends. Children are Colleen (Walt) Huysman, Bellevue, PA; Rosanne (Vince) Plagenza, Somers, CT; Melanie McSteen, Concord, NH; Mark (Karen Gold) McSteen, Great Falls, VA; and Jeffery (Teresa Borza) McSteen, Gibsonia, PA. Grandchildren are Kathryn (George) Tepshich, Baden, PA; Ann and Christa Huysman, Bellevue, PA; Stephanie Kimberly and Emily Plagenza, Somers, CT; Leah and Jake McSteen, Great Falls, VA; and Kelly, Reilly and Kailey McSteen, Gibsonia, PA; Great grandchildren are Abigail and Logan Tepshich, Baden, PA.
Will was a graduate of Perry High School and Duquesne University. He served as a corporal in the 409th Infantry, 103 Division, U.S. Army during World War II, and was awarded the Purple Heart. Will worked his entire career with the Internal Revenue Service Appellate Division in Pittsburgh, PA. He was a Dixmont Hospital and Meals on Wheels volunteer for 15 years. He loved God, his family, his dogs, the woods, nature, tennis, his neighborhood, his city and his country. And especially a good story.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Stella and George McSteen; his in-laws, Louise and Stanley Lucas; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Estelle (George) Buchar and Dorothy (Richard) Jones; a brother, Robert McSteen; a brother-in-law, Eugene "Bud" (Joan) Lucas; and a nephew, Kenneth Eugene Lucas.
Friends and relatives are welcome to gather at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 4, at the Masonic Village, 1000 Masonic Dr., Sewickley, PA 15143, with a memorial service starting at 11 a.m. and a luncheon immediately following the service.

John Graham
John Graham, 51, passed away on June 9, 2012 at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital, East Patchogue, NY. Born in Pennsylvania and a resident of Mastic for seven years, John enjoyed working with his hands, building things and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Laura; children, Jonathan and Julie of Pennsylvania, Megan of Mastic; his mother, Genevieve Graham of Pennsylvania; siblings, Lawrence of Pennsylvania, Suzette Ventrone of Florida, James of Georgia, Paula Richardson of Pennsylvania, and Glenn of Georgia.
Services were held at Davin's Funeral Home, Mastic. Cremation followed at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Center Moriches.

Vera Bruno
Vera Kathryn Bruno, 84, of Sewickley, wife of the late Anthony Bruno, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012.
Mrs. Bruno was the owner of Vera K Fashions in Sewickley for 23 years.
She is survived by her sister, Nancy Mitchell and her husband James; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Hester; and six siblings, Betty, Martha, Pat, Don, Albert and Sue.
Services were private. Arrangements were made by the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon.

Agnes Barent
Agnes "Aggie" Mary Barent, 91, formerly of Bellevue and the North Side, died Saturday, June 23, 2012 in St. Barnabas.
Ms. Barent was retired from CNA Insurance, where she had worked for 30 years. She was a member of the Church of the Assumption and a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She enjoyed bowling and playing bingo.
She is survived by two siblings, Richard D. Barent and his wife Barbara of Gibsonia and Rose Stole of Des Moines, IA; nieces and nephews; and a dear friend, Eleanor Majak. She was preceded in death by her parents, Zigmund and Agnes Pleva Barent; and three siblings, Martha Baldridge, Stanley Pyczynski and Zigmund Barent.
Friends were received at Schellhaas Funeral Home, West View. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Assumption on Wednesday. Burial was in Allegheny County Memorial Park. Memorials are suggested to St. Barnabas Charities, 5850 Meridian Rd., Gibsonia, PA 15044.

Thomas Kyle Sr.
Thomas A. Kyle Sr., 71, of the North Side, died Saturday, June 23, 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Irwin Kyle; three children, Thomas A. Kyle Jr. and his wife Edie, William F. Kyle and Debra A. Butler and her husband George "Butch," all of Pittsburgh; three sisters, Katherine "Kate" Hoenke, Nancy Kyle and Margaret "Peggy" Angelo and her husband Michael; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, William Kyle and Francis Kyle.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home. Burial was in Highwood Cemetery.
Carol LaMaide
Carol Ann Zilles LaMaide, wife of the late Frank H. LaMaide, died Sunday, June 24, 2012.
She is survived by two children, Jason C. LaMaide and his wife Andrea and Kelly M. Lovato and her husband Eric of Chicago, IL; her father, John J. Zilles; two brothers, Jack Zilles and his wife Sandy and Patrick Zilles; three grandchildren, Emily, Jacob and Kody; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dolores Lichauer Zilles.
Friends were received at O'Brien Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral mass was held in Risen Lord Church on Friday.

Robert Phillips
Robert D. Phillips, 61, of McCandless Township, formerly of Ross Township, died Monday, June 25, 2012.
Mr. Phillips was a member of Glenshaw Presbyterian Church, where he was a longtime member of the choir. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
He is survived by two siblings, Dr. John Q. Phillips Jr. and his fiancé Leslie Salandro and Susan J. Phillips and her husband Mark Held; and four nieces and nephews, Marcy Held, Meloni Reilly and her husband James, John Q. Phillips III and Micheal Widrig and her husband Jason. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. John Q. Phillips Sr. and Mary Dodds Phillips.
Friends were received at the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon. Services and burial were private. A memorial service will be held in Glenshaw Presbyterian Church today, Friday, at 7 p.m. Contributions are suggested to his church at 300 Glenn Ave., Glenshaw, PA 15116.

Edward Moore
Edward D. Moore died Wednesday, June 13, 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Lou Koerbel Moore; five children, Marie Pallan and her husband Art, Colleen Parker, Heather Shoup and her husband Jeff, Bonnie Moore and Edward Moore and his wife Bete; two stepchildren, Jeff Preininger and his wife Lisa and Louayne Winslow and her husband Greg; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Schmitzer Moore; and two siblings, Thurl Moore and Marion Dittmar.
Friends were received at Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side. Funeral services were held in Brighton Heights Lutheran Church on Saturday.

Joseph Hatala
Joseph Hatala of Clearwater, FL, formerly of Pittsburgh and husband of the late Pauline Hatala, died Wednesday, June 13, 2012.
He is survived by four children, Joseph B. Hatala and his wife Judy, Robert P. Hatala, Mary Ann Hussar and her husband Thomas Sr. and Thomas M. Hatala; his sister-in-law, Martha Hatala; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three siblings, Rose Elenice, Anna Saleik and Nicholas Hatala.
Friends were received at O'Brien Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral mass was held in St. Cyril of Alexandria Church on Tuesday. Burial was in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

Julia Bushick
Julia Moschak Bushick, wife of the late Francis Bushick, died Friday, June 15, 2012.
She is survived by two sisters, Mary Seymour and Matilda Panizzi; and nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Tekla Moschak.
Friends were received at Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral service was held in St. George Ukrainian Church in Brighton Heights, on Wednesday.
