Kathleen Snyder
Kathleen E. Snyder died Wednesday, June 10, 2009.
She is survived by her goddaughter, Kathleen Starkey Cooley and her husband Timothy and their children, Allison and Jordan Cooley; her cousin, Jefferson Starkey and his wife Shannon and godchildren Shawn and Aleisha Starkey. She was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Miller Snyder; her uncle, Louis Miller; and her cousin, Judith Mulder.
Friends were received at Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral mass was held in Risen Lord Church on Saturday.

Terry Ingerick
Terry I. Ingerick, 49, of Monroeville, died Thursday, June 11, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn J. Schlereth Ingerick; his daughter, Rebekah Ingerick; his parents, Harold and Jean Ingerick; four siblings, Connie Ingerick, Vicki Severs, Steven Ingerick and Julie Ingerick; his mother-in-law, Bernadette Schlereth; two brothers-in-law, Leonard Schlereth and his wife Jennifer and Glenn Schlereth and his wife Deborah; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, John Schlereth.
Friends were received at Jobe Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Monroeville. Services were held in Christ Church at Grove Farm, Ohio Township, on Monday. Contributions are suggested to his daughter's education.

Anna Grosick
Anna F. Grosick of Ohio Township died Tuesday, June 9, 2009.
She is survived by her husband, Charles R. Grosick; two sons, Glenn Grosick and his wife Connie of Florence, SC and Dave Grosick and his wife Tracy of West Chester, OH; her sister, Elizabeth King; and seven grandchildren, Benjamin, Rachel, Abigail, Joshua, Natalie, Joseph and Jackson Grosick.
Friends were received at McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Avalon. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in Sacred Heart Church in Emsworth on Monday.

Betty Emery
Betty J. Emery, 83, of West View, died Saturday, June 13, 2009.
Mrs. Emery enjoyed dancing.
She is survived by two sons, Richard Emery and his wife Tammy of Ohio Township and Edward Emery and his wife Patty of Cleveland, OH; her sister, Shirley Apel of West View; four grandchildren, Ericka, Lindsey, Julia and Timothy; and dear friend, Joe Gilarno of Ambridge.
Friends were received at Simons Funeral Home, North Hills, where services were held on Wednesday.

William Jeletic
William M. Jeletic of Brighton Heights, husband of the late Dorothy T. Jeletic, died Friday, June 5, 2009.
He is survived by his daughter, Judy Mowry; two siblings, Florence Osiecki and Anthony Jeletic; his granddaughter, Sharon; and his great-grandson, John. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Leonard, Edward, Joseph and John.
There was no visitation. A blessing service was held in the chapel of St. Mary Cemetery, Troy Hill. Arrangements were made by Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side.

Frances Hack
Frances E. “Fran” Hack of Emsworth died Tuesday, June 16, 2009.
Ms. Hack was retired from Merck (Calgon) and was a member of the Sacred Heart Church choir.
She is survived by two sisters, Camilla Evans and Patricia Delduca and her husband Edward; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Camilla Hack; six siblings, Katherine Knight, Dorothy Merriman, Joseph R. Hack, Vincent G. Hack, James A. Hack and Mary D. Roberts; and her brother-in-law, David Evans.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Sacred Heart Church in Emsworth on Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery.

Marion Ravenstahl
Marion W. Ravenstahl, 95, of Emsworth, wife of the late William H. Ravenstahl, died Saturday, June 13, 2009.
Mrs. Ravenstahl was an active member of Emsworth United Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by two children, Ronald E. Ravenstahl of Emsworth and Carol A. Ramsey of Parkersburg, WV; her brother, George L. Whaley of Mt. Lebanon; five grandchildren, William H. II and Christopher L. Ravenstahl and his wife Victoria, Anne M. Fraley and her husband Michael, Amy E. Foster and her husband Jason and Sean A. Ramsey; and two great-grandchildren, Ryan W. and Madeline E. Foster.

Lawrence Larkin Jr.
Lawrence F. Larkin Jr., 72, of Collier Township, formerly of Rockville Centre, NY, died Friday, June 12, 2009.
Mr. Larkin was retired from the New York City Board of Education, where he was director of special projects for 35 years. He was a graduate of Fordham University and received a master's degree from Yeshiva University.
He is survived by his wife, Rita J. Larkin; two daughters, Kristen Stewart and her husband Brian of Ben Avon Heights and Ann Fichter and her husband Bill of Ross Township; his sister, Ellen Lane; his granddaughter, Caroline Stewart; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Larkin.

Mildred Doscher
Mildred V. Doscher of Avalon, wife of the late Harry W. Doscher, died Tuesday, June 16, 2009.
She is survived by her son, George D. Doscher and his wife Barb; her sister, Irene Oleyash; two grandchildren, Connor A. and Jesse W. Doscher; nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Paul and Peggy Cusick and Shirley Nine . She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Vish, Pap Joseph Pecosh and Stella Pecosh; and brothers and sisters.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue, where services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m.

Pamela Manchini
Pamela Rhea Kliver Manchini of Bellevue died Saturday, June 13, 2009.
She is survived by her husband, Alphonse J. “A.J.” Manchini; and nephews in Missouri.
There was no visitation. A memorial service will be held later.

Peter Dobrostan
Peter Dobrostan, 89, of the North Side, husband of the late Michalina Dobrostan and Marie Dzugan Dobrostan, died Tuesday, May 26, 2009.
Mr. Dobrostan worked at Braun Bakery for 25 years. He was a longtime member of St. George Ukrainian Church.
He is survived by three grandchildren, Kathleen Galbreath and her husband Jeffrey, Michele Trush and Thomas Jones; and six great-grandchildren, Stephen, Katerina, Jason, Emily, Sara and Peter. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Stephanie Dobrostan Jones.
Friends were received at Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral service was held in St. George Ukrainian Church on Friday.

Helen Wasko
Helen M. Wasko, 80, of the North Side, wife of the late Edward F. Wasko, died Tuesday, May 26, 2009.
She is survived by six children, Michelle Peasner, Veronica Giesy, Cynthia Fox, Annette Kumpfmiller and her husband Joe, Edward G. Wasko and Richard A. Wasko and his wife Yvonne; two brothers, James and Harry McKinley; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two siblings, Buzzy McKinley and Marie Tass.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A blessing and committal service was held in the chapel of St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Shaler Township, on Saturday.

Gertrude Lutz
Gertrude Brunner Lutz, 90, of Sewickley, wife of the late Theodore A. Lutz, died Friday, May 29, 2009.
She is survived by her son, Ted Lutz and his wife Lil; two siblings, Joseph Brunner and Joana Broerman; two grandchildren, Lisa Bossong and her husband Chuck and Kelly Hollaway and her husband Randy; and three great-grandchildren, Charlie, Brooke and Katie. She was preceded in death by three siblings, Dorothy Wintermantle, Ruth Wharrey and Earl Brunner.
Friends were received at H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, Ross Township. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Mary Church, Glenfield, on Wednesday.

Ruth Miller
Ruth L. Miller of Brighton Heights died Monday, June 1, 2009.
Ms. Miller worked for PJAX Transportation as a data processor until her retirement. She became a part-time secretary at Brighton-McClure Presbyterian Church where she was a member.
She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Hutchinson; her brother, Raymond Miller and his wife Doris; her granddaughter, Alyssa Hutchinson; two nieces, Mary Samuelson and her husband Kenneth and Lori Prins and her husband Nicholas; and a grandniece, Kristina Samuelson. She was preceded in death by her son, David Mawhinney; and her parents, Walter R. and Louise Schmidt Miller.
Friends were received at O'Brien Funeral Home, North Side, where funeral services were held on Thursday. Memorials are suggested to her church at Brighton Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.

Anna Mae Wahlen
Anna Mae Wahlen, wife of the late Kenneth B. Wahlen, died Tuesday, June 2, 2009.
She is survived by her daughter, Bernadette Tobias and her husband Chuck; three grandchildren, Kristy Kitchener and her husband Lee, Kenneth Wahlen and his wife Debbie and Jennifer Kennedy and her husband Kris; and four great-grandchildren, Meghan and Ryan Wahlen and Makenna and Jacob Kennedy.
There was no visitation. A funeral mass was held in St. Cyril of Alexandria Church on Thursday. Contributions are suggested to L.G.A.R. Health Rehab, 800 Elsie St., Turtle Creek, PA 15145. Arrangements were made by Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side.
