Catherine Smith
Catherine Smith, 83, of Avalon, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012.
Ms. Smith was retired from Bell Telephone Co. She was an active member of Telephone Pioneers.
She is survived by her sister, Joan Moore and her husband Paul; her brother-in-law, Clarence Dively; nieces and nephews; and aunt of Pam and Jessica Schmidt. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Stella Smith; and five siblings, Anna Dively, Mary Lamberth, Jim, Jack and Tom Smith.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue, where a blessing service was held on Saturday. Burial was in St. Mary Cemetery, Glenfield.

Charles Austin
Charles "Chuck" Austin of the Hill District, formerly of Ben Avon, died Saturday, May 26, 2012.
He is survived by two children, Lynn Scott and Chuck Austin II; three grandchildren, Camille L. Trott and her husband Rev. David Trott, Evang. Laray Scott and Marianna L. Scott; and two great-grandchildren, David Trott Jr. and Amiel Austin Trott.
Friends were received at White Memorial Chapel of Point Breeze. A funeral service was held in Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, East Liberty, on Friday.

Eva French
Eva Taylor French, 97, of Bellevue, formerly of Indianapolis, IN and wife of the late Richard B. French Jr., died Sunday, May 27, 2012.
She is survived by three daughters, Phyliss Davis Bybee of Indianapolis, Nancy French of Pittsburgh and Debra Shea of Louisville, KY; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held in Simons Funeral Home, North Hills, on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 9 a.m. Contributions are suggested to Marian Hall Home, 934 Forest Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15202.

Ernest Rahm
Ernest Rahm, 68, of Ben Avon, husband of the late Cynthia Moses Rahm, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012.
He is survived by two children, Eric Rahm and his wife Jill and Heather Abbott and her husband Pat; two sisters, Helga and Shirley; and three grandchildren, Eric, Christopher and Jacob.
Services and burial were private. Arrangements were made by McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Avalon.

Frank Baysek
Frank J. Baysek, 60, of Canadohta Lake, formerly of Ben Avon, died Thursday, May 24, 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Baysek; two sons, Michael Baysek and his wife Lori and Nicholas Baysek and his wife Malissa McMeans; his sister, Nancy Wadsworth and her husband Mike; three grandsons, Andrew, Anthony and Aiden; two step-grandchildren, Ethan McMeans and J.T. McMeans; in-laws Al Mills and his wife Patricia and JoAnn Jarvis and her husband Robert; two nieces, Lynda Kainz and her husband Eric and Michelle "Beeb" Platt; and other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Lois Lehane.
Friends were received at Heard Funeral Home until the time of services on Sunday.

Ellen Frazier
Ellen Marie Frazier, 90, of Naples, FL, wife of the late Marcus Frazier, died Tuesday, May 22, 2012.
Mrs. Frazier had worked as a secretary for Fisher Scientific. She taught Sunday School at Vanderbilt Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by four sons, Steven Frazier of FL, David Frazier of NY, Robert Frazier and his wife Patti and Mark Frazier and his wife Jane, all of California; and three grandchildren, Marcus, William and Melanie.
Friends were received at McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Avalon, until the time of services on Saturday. Burial was in Mt. Royal Cemetery.

Edythe Clair
Edythe M. Hite Clair died Saturday, May 19, 2012.
Mrs. Clair was a former business owner in Bellevue.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas E. Clair; cousins; and faithful companion, Sidney.

Anthony Boll
Anthony "Joe" Boll, husband of the late Doris J. Blaha Boll, died Friday, May 25, 2012.
Mr. Boll was a member of Allegheny Elks #339, PER. PDDGER, West View VFW Post #2754 and American Legion Post #81.
He is survived by three children, Edward Boll and his wife Veronica, Carol Riazzi and her husband Richard and Diane Sopcisak and her husband Jeffrey; his sister, Mildred Boll; and four grandchildren, Joe, Jessica, Rachel and Anna Sopcisak. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Boll; and five siblings, Mary Boll, Margaret Jones, Irene Boll, George Boll and Agnes Nolan.

James Green Jr.
James E. Green Jr., 87, formerly of Ross Township and husband of the late Marjorie Becker Green, died Thursday, May 24, 2012 in the Arbors of St. Barnabas.
He is survived by four children, James E. Green III and his wife Karen Steiner, Candy Daur and her husband Thomas, Marcie Divosevic and her husband Richard and Michael M. Green and his wife Deneen; three siblings, Michael Green, Myron Green and Patricia Miller; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Ebert and Dorothy Gardner.

Jean Ross
Jean Burford Ross, 86, of Robinson Township, wife of the late Andrew Ross, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 in Presbyterian University Hospital.
Mrs. Ross was a member of Tetelestai Church in New Kensington.
She is survived by three children, James A. Ross and his wife Mary Ann and Raymond B. Ross and his wife Joyce, all of Ohio Township and Patricia A. Ross and her husband Dave Bohn of Robinson Township; two sisters, Georgette Shooster of Kingston, TN and Wilma Wheeler of Lockport, NY; and five grandchildren, Jesse, Seth, Navah, Nathan and Benjamin. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Edith Rogers Burford; and her sister, Edith May Vogeley.

Dolores Klebanski
Dolores M. Klebanski died Sunday, May 6, 2012.
Mrs. Klebanski was a 1959 graduate of Ohio Valley School of Nursing.
She is survived by her husband, Norbert Klebanski Sr.; three children, Norbert Klebanski Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Erie, PA, David Klebanski and Kristen Collingwood and her husband Kirk; and three grandsons, Christopher, Daniel and Timothy Klebanski. She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Helen Hredzak.
