Vera Avetta
Vera T. Kalbaugh Avetta of Ohio Township died Wednesday, April 29, 2015.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen L. Avetta; two children, Stephen M. Avetta and is wife Barbara and Carolyn A. Avetta; three grandchildren, Jennifer Salamon and her husband Michael, Aaron and his wife Jennifer and Lindsey Balin; seven great-grandchildren, Roman, Lillie, JJ, Hunter, Sophia, Guinevere and Oliver; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents,Zedock and Myrtle Kalbaugh; her brother, Zedock; and her granddaughter, Sarah Jane.
Friends were received at Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side, until the time of a memorial service on Saturday. Donations are suggested to Autism Connection of PA, 35 Wilson St., Suite 11, Pittsburgh, PA 15223.

Dorothy Rastetter
Dorothy A. Rastetter, 86, of Pittsburgh, wife of the late Joseph J. Rastetter Sr., died Thursday, April 30, 2015.
She is survived by her cousin, Margaret Hanak; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph J. Rastetter Jr.; and her brother, Joseph Forrest and his wife Marlene.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Side, on Monday. Memorials are suggested to the National Kidney Foundation, 3108 Forbes Ave., #101, Pittsburgh, PA 15213.

Dorothy Frazier
Dorothy McCrea Frazier, 89, of Ohio Township, wife of the late Clifford A. Frazier, died Saturday, May 2, 2015.
Mrs. Frazier was a volunteer at the North Boroughs-Sewickley Area Meals On Wheels. She was an active member of Mt. Nebo Presbyterian Church, where she served as an elder, secretary and organist.
She is survived by three children, Linda Wible and her husband George of Ohio Township, Donna Frazier of Aliquippa and Jeffrey Frazier and his wife Rebecca of Ohio Township; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce George.
Friends were received at McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Avalon. Services will be held in Mt. Nebo Presbyterian Church on Friday at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to her church at 1828 Roosevelt Rd., Sewickley, PA 15143 or the Ohio Township Volunteer Fire Co., 1719 Roosevelt Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15237.

Andrew Cynkar
Andrew Cynkar, 97, of Quincy, CA, formerly of Brighton Heights and husband of the late Marion Cynkar, died Wednesday, April 15, 2015.
He is survived by his sister, Caroline Rosensteel of Ross Township; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by six siblings, Victoria, Josephine, Helen, Jean, Martin and Robert.
Services and burial were private.

Donald Kelly
Donald James Kelly, 89, of Ohio Township, formerly of Spring Hill/North Side, died Saturday, April 25, 2015.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Mullen Kelly; his daughter, Patricia Mahaffey and her husband Dennis; two sisters, Eleanor Presto and Gloria Etzi; three granddaughters, Kelly Bekker and her husband Steve, Lauren Fairbanks and her husband Jesse and Kaitlyn Mahaffey; his great-grandson, Benjamin Bekker; two stepdaughters, Donna and Deborah Tedesco; and two step-grandchildren, Brian Tedesco and Danielle McTighe. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Szymanski; and three siblings, Jack and Charles Kelly and Evelyn Renker.
Friends were received at Schellhaas Funeral Home, West View, where services were held on Tuesday.
