Carl Trimber
Carl E. Trimber, 79, of Ross Township, died Tuesday, April 23, 2013.
Mr. Trimber was retired as a teacher and coach at Northgate High School for more than 34 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was an avid runner.
He is survived by his wife, Bette Nazzaro Trimber; two daughters, Sharon and Lisa Trimber; his sister, Margaret Dalzell; and nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at T.B. Devlin Funeral Home, North Hills, where a blessing service was held on Saturday. Contributions are suggested to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15237.

Rita Smith
Rita E. Smith, 96, of Pittsburgh, wife of the late Robert J. Smith, died Friday, April 26, 2013.
Mrs. Smith was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
She is survived by two daughters, Sandy Wall of Sandy Lake, PA and Linda Courcier of Miami, FL; her brother, Elmer Schmitzer of Penn Hills; three grandchildren, Wendy Beck, Jeffrey Pfeiffer and Ryan Heddleston; eight great-grandchildren, Lindsey, Justin, Jacob, Katherine, William, Luca, Emma and Quintin; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two siblings, Bernard Schmetzer and Vivian "Vi" Bauer.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Cyril of Alexandria Church on Monday. Burial was in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to her church at 3854 Brighton Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
Hugo Alicandri
Hugo Alicandri of Bellevue, husband of the late Maria K. Hampl Alicandri, died Saturday, April 27, 2013.
Mr. Alicandri was a retired veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served during World War II.
He is survived by his sister, Vera Alicandri of Brookline. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Eleonore Alicandri; and his brothers.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Assumption on Wednesday. Burial was private.

M.J. Lesko
M.J. "George" Revilak Lesko, 63, of Ross Township, formerly of the North Boroughs, died Friday, April 26, 2013.
She is survived by her husband, Al Lesko; two children, Tomico "Tommie" Revilak and Joico "Joie" Revilak-Graham; three siblings, Ralph Chasey, Barbara Felser and John "Skip" Chasey; and a granddaughter, Ella Rose Graham. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Rosena Barie Chasey.
Friends were received at Schellhaas Funeral Home, West View, where services were held on Tuesday.

Dorothy Puglin
Dorothy Viehbeck Puglin, 93, of St. Petersburg, FL, formerly of West View and wife of the late Joseph V. Puglin Sr., died Monday, April 22, 2013.
Mrs. Puglin was a Perry High School graduate and a member of St. Athanasius Church.
She is survived by four children, Mary Kay Cote and her husband Larry of Seminole, FL, Margaret Birmingham, Joseph Puglin Jr. of Bellevue and Michael Puglin of Kenneth City, FL; her sister, Helen Powell of Hernando, FL; and three granddaughters, Tiffany, Kylie and Ava Puglin. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Puglin; and her parents, Joseph and Caroline Viehbeck.
A funeral mass will be held in Holy Cross Church in Florida on May 6 at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Brett Funeral Home, St. Petersburg.

Marian McCall
Marian P. Pillart McCall, 79, of the North Side, formerly of Bellevue, died Friday, April 26, 2013.
Mrs. McCall was a member of St. Boniface Church, Holy Wisdom Parish.
She is survived by her son, Mark C. McCall and his wife Debby. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles F. and Frances C. Pillart.
A memorial mass was held in St. Boniface Church, Holy Wisdom Parish, on Thursday. Burial was in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery. Donations are suggested to St. Ambrose Manor, 1235 Yetta Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15212.

Joseph Dopp
Joseph W. Dopp, 95, husband of the late Catherine M. "June" Dopp, died Saturday, April 27, 2013.
Mr. Dopp had worked for Dravo Corp. for 43 years.
He is survived by nine children, Frank Dopp and his wife Joanne, David Dopp and his wife Joyce, Mary Usnick and her husband Michael, Jerry Dopp and his wife Wanda, Judy Mankevich and her husband John, Janice Debes and her husband Michael, Jacque McHenry, Tim Dopp and his wife Vicky and Catherine M. Dopp; his sister, Dorothy McCue; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

William McCandless
William R. McCandless, 84, of McCandless Township, died Sunday, April 28, 2013.
Mr. McCandless was past master of North Hills Lodge #716 F&AM. He served on the board of directors of the North Suburban Builders Association.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores Haller McCandless; two children, Beth McCandless and her husband Gary Price and Todd McCandless and his wife Beryl of St. Louis, MO; and two grandchildren, Tighe and Arin McCandless. He was preceded in death by two siblings, Robert McCandless and Mary Jane McCandless.
There was no visitation. A celebration of life will be held in Wildwood Golf Club, 2195 Sample Rd., Allison Park, on Saturday, May 11, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Arrangements were made by the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon.

Mary Brunner
Mary A. Brunner, 77, of McCandless Township, formerly of Avalon, died Wednesday, April 17, 2013 in Vincentian Home, North Hills.
Ms. Brunner was a member of the Church of the Assumption. She worked at the Borough of Bellevue tax office, the Jenner Co. and Divine Providence Alpha School. She also was a volunteer at Allegheny General Hospital.
She is survived by four siblings, Albert Brunner and his wife Rita, Joanne Herrmann and her husband Gene, John Brunner and his wife Mary and Karen Schneider and her husband Ray; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert James and Sara Marie Ventura Brunner.

Nancy Mueller
Nancy Jane Mueller of Emsworth died Friday, April 19, 2013.
She is survived by her husband, Frederick Mueller; three children, Karen Getz and her husband Paul, Eric Mueller and his wife Cindy and Lisa Libonati and her husband Joe; her brother, Robert Staub; seven grandchildren, Chad, Jonathan, Jennifer, Nicholas, Julie, Adam and Cory; and a great-grandchild, Chase.

Lucinda Dickson
Lucinda "Cindy" M. Barone Dickson of Pittsburgh died Wednesday, April 17, 2013.
She is survived by two daughters, Angela M. Dickson of Bellevue and Lucy K. Dickson of Murrysville; two siblings, Kathleen Barone and Raymond W. Barone; her niece, Miranda Barone; her nephew, Andrew Hogan; grandnieces and grandnephews; dear friend, Dennis Dehl; and her former husband, Gregory M. Dickson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Margaret Barone; and her sister, Roberta Barone.

Jane Koch
Jane E. MacKenzie Koch died Sunday, April 21, 2013.
She is survived by her husband, Walter J. Koch; six children, Mary Ellen Koch, Ann Liedtke and her husband Bill of Virginia, Thomas W. Koch and his wife Carole, Paul S. Koch and his wife Lisa of Ohio, Joseph M. Koch and his wife Kay of West Virginia and John R. Koch and his wife Patricia; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Engel and Patricia Scott.

Jean Goehring
Jean F. McCue Goehring died Tuesday, April 23, 2013.
She is survived by her son, Clinton J. Goehring and his wife Melissa; and two granddaughters, Marleighna Hope and Miranda Isabella Goehring. She was preceded in death by her parents, William F. and Dorothy Pecanis McCue; and her brother, Robert McCue.
Friends were received at O'Brien Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral mass was held in Risen Lord Church today, Friday, at 10 a.m.

Anthony Fedyna
Anthony Fedyna, 102, husband of the late Katherine Warholak Fedyna, died Friday, April 12, 2013.
He is survived by his sister, Theodora Petruska; nieces and nephews; and a dear friend, Deb DeAndrea. He was preceded in death by his son, Anthony Theodore Fedyna; and four sisters, Julia Kutcher, Mildred Altenhof, Stella Rychkun and Mary Ann Lozer.

Mary Louise McCurdy
Mary Louise McCurdy, 86, of Berkeley Hills, wife of the late Ted McCurdy, died Wednesday, April 10, 2013 in Rockynol Assisted Living in Akron, OH.
Mrs. McCurdy was a graduate of South Side High School and received a bachelor of arts degree at the University of Pittsburgh. She was a member of Kappa Gamma sorority and Memorial Park Presbyterian Church and Twin and Blossom Garden Club.
She is survived by two children, Tim McCurdy and his wife Carol of Coudersport, PA and Marcia Wolff of Akron; three grandchildren, Lindsay Zedonek and her husband Mark of Pittsburgh, Kyle McCurdy of Ann Arbor, MI and Matthew McCurdy of Coudersport; two sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Wrenshall of Avalon and Norine Lucas of Chapel Hill, NC; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lually Stickle; and her brother, Bill.
