Joan Bechtel
Joan Marie Bechtel, 75, of Clarks Summit, PA, formerly of Bellevue, died Tuesday, May 10, 2011 in Hospice Community Care, Dunmore, PA.
Ms. Bechtel was a Bellevue High School graduate. She was a retired executive secretary of Harbison-Walker in Pittsburgh. She was an active volunteer at Meals On Wheels and at Allegheny General Hospital. She was an avid traveler.
She is survived by two brothers, Raymond W. Bechtel and his wife Jean and William R. Bechtel and his wife Clare, all of Clarks Summit; three nieces, Kimberly Liptock, Debbie Gavin and Lisa Lawless; a nephew, Paul Bechtel; four grandnieces; and a grandnephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, William E. and Mary Margaret Walsh Bechtel.
Friends were received at Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Services, Clarks Summit. A funeral mass was held in Our Lady of the Snows Church, Clarks Summit. Burial was in Cathedral Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice Community Care, 100 Williams St., Dunmore, PA 18512 or a favorite charity.

Jessie Pitzer
Jessie Paul Pitzer, 86, of Ben Avon, wife of the late Jack A. Pitzer, died Wednesday, May 11, 2011.
She is survived by six children, Diane Goss and her husband Rev. Richard, Joyce Bandura and her husband Joe, Bruce Pitzer, Janet Ambrass and her husband Jim, Sharon Shively and her husband Tom Hoolahan and Sandy Stephens and her husband Lester; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Paul Pitzer; and her sister, Eleanor Ziegler.
Friends were received at the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon, where services were held on Saturday. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Cranberry Township.

Phyllis Seethaler
Phyllis R. Seethaler, 84, of Avalon, died Tuesday, May 20, 2011.
She is survived by her husband, Paul G. Seethaler; two children, Peggy Lew and her husband Gary and Mark Seethaler and his wife Kathy; her sister, Joyce Jackson; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation and services were private. Memorial donations are suggested to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation "Pediatric Cancer Research and Treatment," 4401 Penn Ave., Central Plant Floor 3, Pittsburgh, PA 15224. Arrangements were made by the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon.

Walter Jones
Walter "Don" Jones of Shaler Township died Thursday, May 12, 2011.
Mr. Jones was retired from Isaly's Sweet William restaurant with 30 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Marian Smola Jones; two sons, Donald M. Jones and Gary A. Jones and his wife Janet; and four grandchildren, Brian M., Jessica L., Kaitlyn M. and Megan E. Jones. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward E. and David P. Jones.

James McIntosh
James H. McIntosh, 80, of Emsworth, died Thursday, May 12, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Marie McIntosh; his son, John C. McIntosh of California; two sisters, Maryann Michael and her husband Floyd of New Jersey and Suzanne Wolf and her husband Rudy of Pennsylvania; two grandchildren, Feibi and Reishan McIntosh; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara McIntosh.
Friends were received at McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Avalon. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in Sacred Heart Church in Emsworth on Monday.

Frank Abmayr
Frank A. Abmayr died Thursday, May 12, 2011.
He is survived by his brother-in-law, Bill J. McSorley Jr.; four nieces and nephews, Marian Mastandrea, Bill McSorley of Illinois, Peggy Griffith and Jim McSorley of Florida; and 11 grandnieces and grandnephews, Vic, Katherine, John, Michael, Julia, Paul, Brian, Leah, Larry, Nora and Helen. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Helen Bickert Abmayr; and his sister, Helen "Terry" Abmayr McSorley.
There was no visitation. A funeral mass was held in St. Cyril of Alexandria Church on Monday. Burial was in Most Holy Name Cemetery.

Genevieve Ehrenfeld
Genevieve Marie Simon Ehrenfeld, 91, formerly of North Side and wife of the late Russell H. Ehrenfeld, died Saturday, May 14, 2011 in Wexford House.
She is survived by six children, Russell S. Ehrenfeld and his wife Dorothy of Plum Borough, Susan L. Majetic of Moon Township, Ronald L. Ehrenfeld and his wife Mary Lou of South Riding, VA, Paul A. Ehrenfeld and his wife Judy of Bonifay, FL, Peter D. Ehrenfeld and his wife Patricia of Goodyear, AZ and Christopher L. Ehrenfeld of Titusville, FL; her daughter-in-law, Barbara Ehrenfeld of Butler, PA; two sisters, Louise Vybrial of Reserve Township and Dorothy Bielski of Creston, IA; three sisters-in-law, Ceycl Simon, Lucy Simon and Ruth Simon; 18 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis W. Ehrenfeld; her parents, Peter and Anna Simon; and four brothers, William Simon, Peter Simon, Thomas Simon and John Simon and his wife Grace.

Loretta Lombardi
Loretta May Lombardi, wife of the late Ronald A. Lombardi, died Sunday, May 15, 2011.
She is survived by three children, Rhonda Kyte, Cheryl Nutter and Ronald Lombardi Jr.; her sister, Florence Wolfe; and four grandchildren, Ronald Lombardi III, Stephanie Lombardi, Alexander and Zackary Nutter. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Jo Lombardi; her parents, James Sr. and Hilda Walker Wolfe; and three brothers, Edward, Raymond and James Wolfe Jr.

Charlotte Parson
Charlotte Dunhoff Parson, 81, of Brighton Heights, died Sunday, May 15, 2011.
She is survived by her husband, Albert W. Parson Jr.; four children, David Parson and his wife Eileen, Jan Moreland and her husband David, Albert W. Parson III and his wife Barbara and Brian Parson; five grandchildren,Amy and her husband Bret, Lori and her husband Brian, Matthew and his wife Sharon, Michael and Patrick and his wife Urara; and five great-grandchildren, Dylan, Owen and Gavin McKee and Kaitlyn and Ryan Parson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Eleanor Dunhoff.
Friends were received at Schellhaas Funeral Home, West View, where services were held on Wednesday. Burial was in Uniondale Cemetery.

Bernice Corba
Bernice B. Corba, 86, of Avalon, wife of the late John Corba Jr., died Sunday, May 15, 2011.
She is survived by two children, William "Bill" Corba of St. Michaels, MD and Barbara Doscher and her husband George of Bellevue; two siblings, Frank Marx and Esther Wagner; and two grandchildren, Connor and Jesse. She was preceded in death by two siblings, Dolly Metzger and Clarence "Butch" Marx.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Assumption on Friday. Burial was private. Memorial contributions are suggested to El Hogar Ministries, Inc.

Elizabeth Yavorka
Elizabeth Masley Yavorka, 97, of Bellevue, wife of the late Stephen T. Yavorka, died Monday, May 16, 2011.
Mrs. Yavorka was a member of the Christian Mothers at the Church of the Assumption. She was retired from the Duquesne Club.
She is survived by three children, Ronald Yavorka and his wife Lou Ella of Honey Brook, PA, Dolores Schmidt and her husband James R. of Ft. Myers, FL and Marian Jobe and her husband Brian of Bellevue; her daughter-in-law, Ruthie L. Yavorka of Allison Park; 10 grandchildren, John and Randy Yavorka, Jamey Schmidt, Kristin Buchhelt, Jim Reising, Katie Lattimore, John Schmidt and Sarah Jobe; 16 great-grandchildren; special friends Lauren and Kristin Tedesco and Ria and Alana Price; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Yavorka; her parents, Joseph J. and Mary Masley; and six siblings, Mary, Anna, Helen, John, Agnes and Joseph.
