Frances Hayden
Frances Psomas Makray Hayden, 94, of Ohio Township, wife of the late Lawrence J. Makray Jr. and Eli Hayden, died Thursday, April 28, 2016.
Mrs. Hayden had been a member of the Ohio Township Ladies Auxiliary and St. Mary Women's Guild.
She is survived by her daughter, Frances Gilson and her husband Clete; her brother, Charles Psomas and his wife Tutti; her grandson, Zachary Makray; two nieces, Frances Avery and her husband Marty and Amber Hauger and her husband Mark and other nieces and nephews; and her great-grandnephew, Bryce Hauger. She was preceded in death by her son, Lawrence J. Makray III; her parents, Steve and Jennie Psomas; and four siblings, Harry, Alex, Georgia and Cleo.
Friends were received at Devlin Funeral Home, North Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Mary Church in Glenfield on Monday. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Mary Women's Guild, 444 Glenfield Rd., Sewickley, PA 15143.
Harry Irvin
Harry N. Irvin, 88, of Gibsonia, husband of the late Edna A. Goettmann Irvin, died Wednesday, May 4, 2016.
He is survived by three daughters, Susan Baxter and her husband William, Linda Baur and her husband Robert, both of Pittsburgh, and Donna Nocieg of Perrysburg, OH; his brother, Robert Irvin and his wife Charlene; four grandchildren, Keri Hoffmann and her husband Jason, Jeffrey Baxter and his wife Anita, Christa Whiitlatch and her husband Philip and James Baur and his wife Iris Howley; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Henry Sotace
Henry J. "Topper" Sotace of Cranberry Township, formerly of Brighton Heights, died Sunday, May 8, 2016.
Mr. Sotace was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a City of Pittsburgh firefighter for 31 years.
He is survived by his wife, Louise A. Butler Sotace; five children, Michael P. Sotace and his wife Karen, Beth Giegel and her husband John, Karen A. Sotace, Kathy A. Morgan and Eileen L. Demetriadis and her husband Jim Chesney; nine grandchildren, Michael T. Sotace, Katie Demetriadis, Lucy Giegel, Ally Demetriadis, Jeff Sotace, Sam Giegel, Zakary Morgan, Jacob Giegel and Mallory Morgan; his sister-in-law, Bernice Haig; and Haig nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at Devlin Funeral Home, Cranberry. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Ferdinand Church on Friday.
Helen Wright
Helen R. "Bobbi" Moag Wright, 86, of Ohio Township, wife of the late Alan Wright, died Thursday, May 5, 2016.
Mrs. Wright was a retired secretary for the Lutheran Synod office.
She is survived by her daughter, Bobbie Kretzler and her husband Tim; her brother-in-law, Harold Wright and his wife Paulette; and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 14, at Berkley Hills Lutheran Church at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Memorial contributions are suggested to her church at 517 Sangree Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15237 or Ohio Township. Volunteer Fire Co. Arrangements were made by McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Avalon.

Earl Timmins
Earl John Timmins, 60, of Hopewell Township, formerly of Avalon, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 3, 2016.
He was born April 17, 1956 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Earl and Irene Timmins. He was the brother of Richard (Connie) Timmins and Patricia (James) McGurgan; uncle of Shaun Patrick and Justin James McGurgan.
Services are private. Arrangements were made by the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon.
