Edward W. Swidal, 87, of Pittsburgh, husband of the late Elizabeth "Betty" Swidal, died Wednesday, March 30, 2016.
Mr. Swidal was a decorated Korean Conflict veteran.
He is survived by two sons, William Swidal and his wife Dawn Fitzgerald of McCandless Township and Brian E. Swidal and his wife Adrienne of Manassas, VA; two siblings, Robert Swidal of Lady Lake, FL and Lillian "Dolly" Brancho of Salem, OH; three grandchildren,Shawn Fitzgerald and his wife Mary Alice, Katelyn Swidal and her husband John Christ and Peter Swidal; and nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Lillian Swidal.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue, where services were held on Monday. Burial was in Mt. Royal Cemetery.
Madeline A. Gallagher Ewing, wife of the late William Ewing, died Friday, April 1, 2016.
She is survived by three children, Bernice Strieff and her husband Tom, Kathleen Sawyer and her husband Stephen and Daniel J. Ewing and his wife Roseanne; her daughter-in-law, Sandra Ewing; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her son, William J. Ewing; and four siblings.

Chad Jackson, 35, of Avalon, died Wednesday, March 30, 2016.
He is survived by his wife, Victoria Cortes Jackson; his parents, John and Connie Jackson; three siblings, Lori Morrissey and her husband Joe, Missy Clarke and Johnnie Jackson and his wife Patty; his mother-in-law, Karen Cortes; and the extended Jackson, Cortes and Steele families. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, John Cortes.

Geraldine "Gerry" Lisio Costello, wife of the late Charles Costello Sr., died Saturday, April 2, 2016.
She is survived by four children, Charles J. Costello Jr. and his wife Peggy, Robert Costello and his wife Karen, Nancy Costello and Eileen Palombini and her husband Samuel; her sister, Lorraine Yeager; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two siblings, Vilma and Albert.

Shirley A. Willett Grogan of Bellevue died Tuesday, March 29, 2016.
She is survived by five children, Ronald Grogan, Maureen Grogan, Darleen Connolly, Brian Grogan and his wife Valerie and Thomas Grogan and his wife Marie; three siblings, William Willett and his wife Diane, Elizabeth Beymer and Gene Willett and his wife Bonnie; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Christopher D. Tetzlaw, 36, of Brighton Heights died Friday, April 1, 2016.
He is survived by his daughter, Layne Yokel; his parents, David and Kathleen Tetzlaw; his sister, Katie Tetzlaw; and a dear friend, Nicholle Yokel.

Jane Elizabeth Potts Heinze, 91, of Encinitas, CA, formerly of West View and Shaler Township, and wife of the late Earl Edward Heinze, died Thursday, March 31, 2016.
She is survived by two children, Janet Elaine Gates and her husband Craig of Salinas, CA and Richard Laurence Heinze and his wife Svetiana of Carlsbad, CA; her sister, Rachael Hysong of Glenshaw; two granddaughters, Jennifer Sanda Gates and Amy Marie Gates; her niece, Joan Krause-Smith and her husband Chris of Fairmont, WV; and other nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by six siblings, Robert, Edward and James Potts, Grace Drass, Helen Feisenthal and Mary Ellen Roney.

Francis K. Neely, 93, of Avalon, husband of the late Rosalyn LaMantia Neely, died Tuesday, April 5, 2016.
Mr. Neely was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served in the Pacific Theater. He was retired in 1984 from Duquesne Light Co. after 37 years of service. He was a member of the Church of the Assumption for more than 60 years.
He is survived by four sons, William Neely of Reno, NV, Thomas Neely of Granada Hills, CA, Steven Neely and his wife Jean of Sarver, PA and Frank Neely of Pittsburgh; his sister, Mary Lou Tegethof of Maryland; and four grandchildren, Daniel, Jeffrey, Corinna and Robin.
