Theresa Zinkhan
Theresa E. Zinkhan, 89, of Avalon, formerly of Wexford and wife of the late William "Pete" Zinkhan, died Friday, March 30, 2012.
She is survived by her daughter, Marion Maniet and her husband David; three siblings, Mary Wolfarth, Edward and James Devine; and two grandsons, David Maniet Jr. and William Maniet. She was preceded in death by two siblings, Paul and Florence
Friends were received at the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Assumption on Monday. Burial was in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery.

Norman Roos Sr.
Norman Joseph Roos Sr., 85, of Wexford, formerly of Bellevue, died Saturday, March 31, 2012.
Mr. Roos was retired from IBM. He was an active member of Knights of Columbus, St. Alexis Church and North Catholic High School Class of 1944.
He is survived by his wife, Marilou Holdcroft Roos; five children, Norman Roos Jr., Don Ross, David Roos, Ellen Swarts and Amy Flemming; two siblings, Edmund Roos of Baton Rouge, LA and Mary Roos Pepmeyer of Glenshaw; and eight grandchildren, Mary Kate and Joey Roos, Eliza and Jonah Bucatinsky, Crysta and Brian Swarts, Grayson and Gus Flemming. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edmund Nicholas and Flora Vogel Roos; and four siblings, Paul, Alan and Lewis Roos and Anne Roos Wagner.
Friends were received at T.B. Devlin Funeral Home, Ross Township. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Alexis Church on Tuesday. Mildred Rubacky
Mildred E. Rubacky, 88, formerly of Brighton Heights, died Saturday, March 31, 2012.
Ms. Rubacky was retired from Bell Telephone Company with 37 years of service. She was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America.
She is survived by her brother, Andrew J. Rubacky and his wife Dolores of Ross Twp.; four nieces and nephews, Andrew R. Rubacky and his wife Joyce of McCandless Township, Michael J. Rubacky and his wife June Ramsey of Florida, Diane M. Burns and her husband Hugh and Cheryle A. Cummings and her husband Richard, all of Bellevue; five grandnephews; three grandnieces; and a great-grandniece. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew J. and Laura Hutchinson Rubacky; and her sister, Laura G. Rubacky.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday in Queen of Angels Chapel at Mt. Assisi. Memorial contributions are suggested to a favorite charity.
Frances Toncic
Frances C. Toncic, 101, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Emsworth and wife of the late Paul Toncic, died Friday, March 30, 2012.
She is survived by two children, Paul Toncic Jr. and Pauline Toncic; two grandchildren, Lawrence and Christina; and her daughter-in-law, Daphne Toncic. She was preceded in death by her son, Franklin J. Toncic.
Friends were received at the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon, where a blessing service was held on Tuesday. Burial was in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery.

Daniel Homer
Daniel R. Homer, 53, of Brighton Heights died Monday, Feb. 20, 2012.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Hallett Homer. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond W. and Mary O. Hallett.
Arrangements were made by Schellhaas Funeral Home, West View.

Nicholas Kachmar Sr.
Nicholas J. Kachmar Sr., 85, of Ross Township, husband of the late Thelma Rose Knabel Kachmar and Catherine A. Kachmar, died Wednesday, March 28, 2012.
Mr. Kachmar was a member of Iron Workers Local #3 for 60 years. He was a coach and umpire for youth softball in the North Hills for more than 25 years. He was an avid bowler.
He is survived by six children, Nick Kachmar Jr. and his wife Chris of Cranberry Township, Joseph Kachmar of Bellevue, Lynn Musgrove and her husband Rick of Shaler Township, Nora Duke of Ocean City, MD, Cathy Conroy and her husband Sean of McCandless, and Mary Frances Kazmierczak of West View; two siblings, Paul Kachmar Sr. and Frances Saitta; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Kachmar Jr.; and his son-in-law, Matt Kazmierczak.
Friends were received at Simons Funeral Home, North Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Ursula Church, Allison Park, on Saturday.
