Craig Thomas Slavicek
On Saturday, April 21, 2012, age 21 of Girdwood, AK, formerly of Bellevue and Floyd, VA.
Beloved son and step-son of Thomas and Jennifer Slavicek; Brother of Alexis Riedell and Zoe Slavicek; Step-brother of Daniel and Adam Bistrican; Grandson of Nancy Schoen; Step-grandson of Glen and Kathy Wissner and Ginny Peterson; Nephew of Adelle (Sissy) Slavicek Nichols, Brandy Caskey, Duane Slavicek and Maureen O'Donnell. Also survived by many loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Diana Duffy.
Craig was an avid commercial fisherman who loved the outdoors. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Please join his family at a memorial service celebrating his life on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 10:30 am at Northmont U.P. Church, 8169 Perry Highway, Pgh., PA 15237. Margaret Buzza
Mrs. Margaret "Peg" Jane Buzza, 85, passed on in the early morning hours of April 25, 2012 of natural causes.
Mrs. Buzza has been a resident of New Albany, OH for the past several years. She also resided in Corpus Christi, TX and Pittsburgh, PA. She was born Margaret Jane Jenkins on June 13, 1926 in Washington County, PA to Margaret and James Jenkins of Clover Hill, PA. Margaret was a graduate of California State College in California, PA and earned her RN degree at the University of Pittsburgh in 1949. On Aug. 26, 1952, she and Richard S. Buzza (deceased) were married. After 23 years of service as the Avonworth School District nurse, Margaret retired in 1996 to pursue her love of painting, traveling, volunteering with various church groups, and to spend time with her family.
Margaret is survived by her children, Linda Dodd, Stephen and Colleen Buzza, and Alisa Pinciotti; her grandchildren, Taam Dodd, Elise and Erin Buzza, Michael Pinciotti, Julia Pinciotti and Lauren Pinciotti; and great-grandchild, Athena Nelon; her sister, Ruth White; nephew, James Jenkins; and nieces, Jeannene Jenkins and Joann McNall. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Jenkins.
Friends will be received Saturday, April 28, 2012 2-4 p.m. at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna. Visitation will also be held Monday, April 30, 2012 at R.D. Paul Marquardt
Paul William Marquardt, 83, of Reserve Township, died Tuesday, April 17, 2012.
Mr. Marquardt served in the U.S. Air Force 1948-51. He was an avid tennis and golf player and enjoyed gardening. He had been a member of Steamfitters Local #449 since 1953.
He is survived by four nieces and nephews, Walt Marquardt and his wife Julie of Sacramento, CA, Susan Marquardt Rubio and her husband Mario of Jacksonville, FL, Nancy Marquardt Glavin and her husband Kevin of Ross Township and Mark Marquardt and his wife Cara of Harmony, PA; and grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Marie Marquardt; and two brothers, Dan and Walter Marquardt.
Friends were received at McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Avalon, until the time of services on Saturday.

Charles Tankersley
Charles R. Tankersley of Bellevue died Saturday, April 14, 2012.
He is survived by his parents, William and Lynda Carr and Charles Snyder; and cousins. He was the nephew of Richard and Terri Tankersley and Gary and Kathy Tankersley.
Friends were received at Rex T. Smith Funeral Home, North Side, where services were held on Saturday. Burial was in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Rochester, PA.

Mary Sullivan
Mary C. Salac Sullivan, 75, of Bellevue, formerly of Lawrenceville, died Thursday, April 19, 2012.
She is survived by two children, Martin Sullivan and Sandra Popowski; two brothers, Richard Salac and his wife Lil and Eric Salac; four granddaughters, Kelli R. and her fiance Mark Malisko, Christina L. Popowski, Maria Sullivan and Stacie N. Popowski; two great-granddaughters, Breanna Marie Sullivan and Kayla A. Malisko; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Helen Slazenski Salac Sr.; her brother, Herbert Salac Jr.; and her son-in-law, Mark Popowski.
Friends were received at Walter J. Zalewski Funeral Home, Lawrenceville. A funeral mass was held in the Church of the Assumption on Monday.

David Rush
David Rush, 69, of the North Side, died Monday, April 16, 2012.
Friends were received at Robinson Funeral Home, Perry Hilltop. A celebration of life service was held in Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Bellevue, on Tuesday. Burial was in Highwood Cemetery.

Charles Martin Sr.
Charles William "Trucker" Martin Sr., 86, formerly of Ohio and Emsworth and husband of the late Louise Bregan Martin and Marilyn Jones Martin, died Monday, April 23, 2012.
Mr. Martin left high school to enlist in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. He served in the South Pacific in the battles of Peleliu and Okinawa. He worked in construction for a time and then as an over-the-road trucker. He enjoyed working in his garden and the Steelers.
He is survived by three children, Charles Martin Jr. of Ross Township, Sharon Erdlen and her husband Bob of Bell Acres and Marlene Gaza and her husband Lenny of Hopewell Township; two sisters, Dolores Scheuring of Cranberry Township and Sally Schirnhofer of Ross Township; two grandchildren, Robert Erdlen Jr. and Casey Reimer; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edna Martin and Charles Paskewickz; his stepfather, Bryon Martin; and his granddaughter, Natalie Wain.
Friends were received at McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Avalon, until the time of services on Thursday. Burial was in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

William B. Moore
William B Moore, age 79, decorated Army Veteran, master painter, husband, father and grandfather, died April 20, 2012 with his wife and daughter by his side in Coral Springs, FL.
He was born Sept. 20, 1932 to parents Albert and Glendora Moore in Clearfield, PA. He resided in Milford, CT for 30 years, and in 1995 he and his wife moved to Pittsburgh, PA then to Coral Springs, FL for the last seven months of his life.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years Mamie, daughter Michelle, son Matthew and grandchildren Cassady and Maddox. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the La Quinta Inn & Suites Coral Springs, 3701 University Drive, Coral Springs, Fl. 33065 from 2 p.m-5 p.m. Arrangements made by Eden Funeral Home, 2450 W. Sample Rd. 2, Pompano Beach, FL 33073.
