Roy Gansauer
Roy Henry Gansauer, 92, of Moon Township, husband of the late Ruth Dreibelbis Gansauer, died Friday, April 8, 2011.
Mr. Gansauer was a 1936 graduate of Wilkinsburg High School and a World War II, U.S. Army veteran of the 4th Armored Division stationed in Europe under Gen. George S. Patton's 3rd Army. He was retired from Gibson Electric Co. He was a 32nd degree Mason and past master of Samuel Hamilton Lodge. He was a member of Sharon Community Presbyterian Church in Moon Township.
He is survived by two children, Patricia Brecklemyer of Moon Township and Donald L. Gansauer and his wife Rebecca of Baltimore, MD; his sister, Helen Youngman; two granddaughters, Jennifer Hoerster and her husband Doug of Ben Avon and Wendy Cox and her husband Brian of Indianapolis, IN; two great-granddaughters, Audrey and Julia Cox; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Louise Schnierle Gansauer; two brothers, Edwin and Robert Gansauer; and his son-in-law, Mark Bricklemyer.
Friends were received at Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Moon Township. A memorial service was held in Sharon Community Presbyterian Church on Wednesday. Burial was in Pine Hall Cemetery, State College, PA.

Lois Koster
Lois P. Rohm Koster, 80, of Bellevue, wife of the late Frank J. Koster, died Wednesday, April 13, 2011.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Koster and his wife Connie and Joseph Koster and his wife Cara; her sister, Agnes McKee and her husband Sam; five grandchildren, Alexandrea Graham and her husband Russ, Bryan, Melanie, Christopher and Carly Koster; and two great-grandsons, Bryan Jeffrey Jr. and Parker. She was preceded in death by nine siblings, Phil, John, Leo, Ed and Bill Rohm, Harriet Quatchak, Jean Paff, Ann Pullman and Mary Lewandowsky.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Assumption on Saturday.

Jozef Zygmuntowicz
Jozef Zygmuntowicz, 58, of Emsworth, husband of the late Lynette Gniadck Zygmuntowicz, died Thursday, April 14, 2011.
Mr. Zygmuntowicz was a longtime employee of Voegele Co. Roofing.
He is survived by two children, Franz Zygmuntowicz and his wife Amanda and Elizabeth Zygmuntowicz; two granddaughters, Savanna and Melora; three sisters in Poland; and nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon, where a blessing service was held on Tuesday. Burial was in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.

John Pfaff
John "Jack" Clyde Pfaff, 83, of Emsworth, died Sunday, April 17, 2011.
Mr. Pfaff was a member of Avalon Lodge #6576 F&AM.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Kaput Pfaff; two sons, Jeffrey Pfaff and his wife Diane of Cincinnati, OH and Christopher Pfaff and his wife Lisa of Winston Salem, NC; his sister, Ruth Fletcher of Ponte Verda, FL; two grandchildren, Andrea and Brian; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, George Fletcher.

Robert Schlosser
Robert A. Schlosser of Franklin Park, formerly of Ben Avon Heights and husband of the late Joan Taiclet Schlosser, died Saturday, April 16, 2011.
He is survived by two children, David Schlosser and his wife Shari and Kate O. Black and her husband James; two siblings, James Schlosser and his wife Nancy and Kathy Badaracco and her husband Vince; five grandchildren, Andy and Matt Schlosser, Cody, Madison and Morgan Black; and nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at T.B. Devlin Funeral Home, North Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Teresa of Avila Church on Wednesday. Contributions are suggested to St. Teresa School or Heartland Hospice.

Faruk Konuk
Faruk Konuk, 87, of Bellevue and Honolulu, HI, formerly of Istanbul, Turkey, died Sunday, April 3, 2011.
He is survived by his daughter, Jacquelin Carroll of Honolulu.

Margaret Ostronic
Margaret E. Ostronic, 76, of Ross Township, died Monday, April 18, 2011.
She is survived by her husband, James S. Ostronic Sr.; six children, Debra Sealy and her husband Michael of Charleston, SC, James Ostronic Jr. and his wife Jackie of Cranberry Township, Patricia Rieg and her husband Robert of Ohio Township, Judy Reitlinger of Bellevue, William Ostronic of Ross Township and Jennifer Ostronic of Ross Township; her daughter-in-law, Debra Ostronic; two siblings, Rita Brosky and Donald Bilby; 20 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons, George, Douglas and David Ostronic; and her brother, James Mangan.
