Wanda M. Cepanec
Wanda M. Cepanec, 89, of Bellevue, died Tuesday, April 9, 2019.
She was the wife of the late Frank G. "Fritz" Cepanec; mother of Frank Gerald (Barbara) Cepanec; grandmother of Jessie (Jeff) Cupps; sister of the late Dorothy (late Richard) Watson.
Wanda was a member of the Suburban General Hospital Auxiliary.

Mary Lois (Hoffman) Gallagher, 99, of Bellevue, died Wednesday, April 10, 2019.
She Mary Lois (Hoffman) Gallagher of Bellevue, died at the age of 99. She was the wife of the late Bernard J. Gallagher, married for 50 years; mother of Judith Corr (Patrick), John Dennis Gallagher, Kathleen E. Lutz (Keith) and M. Eileen Gallagher; sister of the late Madeline M. Lawton (A. Robert), late John Hoffman and late Fred J. Hoffman (Joan); also survived by 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Richard Stuncard
Richard Stuncard, 90, a longtime resident of Avalon, died Thursday, April 11, 2019.
He was the husband of the late Julia Stuncard; father of Karen Rapavi, Susan Hagmaier (Robert) and Richard Stuncard, Jr.; brother of James Stuncard (Caroline); stepfather of Sandra DeNicola, Dennis, Diane, Cheri, Janice, Michael and the late James and Patrick Flood; also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Richard was a US Army veteran of the Korean War.

Mary Rita (Jaehne) Walsh
Mary Rita (Jaehne) Walsh, 96, of Avalon, died Sunday, April 14, 2019.
She was the wife of the late Regis Walsh; mother of Elaine Myers, Patricia Carney (William), Diane Francis (Richard), Mary Haslett (David), Laurie Sterling (Brian), late Mark Walsh and late Janey Walsh (Russell Stevenson); grandmother of 13; great-grandmother of 14; preceded in death by a great-grandson, Kenneth Bernauer III; sister of the late Florence Gerber, Lillian Wagner, Helen Hoerneman, Mildred Rothermel and Dorothy Jaehne.
Mary Rita was a lifelong member of Church of the Assumption and of Avalon. She was on the board of directors of the WWII memorial on the North Shore where she is recognized as a "Rosie."
The family would like to thank the AHN Hospice nurses and aides for the compassionate care of their mother.

Margaret M. Wiegman
Margaret M. Wiegman, 101, formerly of Avalon, died Wednesday, April 10, 2019.
She grew up on East Street and was active in St. Boniface Church and the community. She moved to Avalon in the early 70s and for the last 10-plus years, she was part of the Vincentian Home community.
Margaret spent most of her life cooking for others; beginning at St. Boniface Church as a cook for the priests, then Sky Vue Terrace and for Northgate High School until her retirement at the age of 76. She then volunteered as a cook for Meals on Wheels.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Wiegman; a daughter, Carol Richards; her brother, James O'Neill; her sister, Virginia O'Neill; and her grandsons, Ken and Brian. She is survived by her daughter, Eileen McKee; her grandchildren, Tracy and Sean, and by five great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations are suggested to Vincentian Home, earmarked for the Vincentian Home Employee Christmas Fund, to recognize the loving and tireless efforts of so many over the years.

Judith A. (Fennell) Szymborski, of Avalon, died Friday, April 12, 2019.
She was the wife of the late Samuel Szymborski; mother of Monica and Michael Szymborski; sister of George Teese, Richard, William, Theresa and Frederick Fennell; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Anna Maria Roman
Anna Maria Roman, 103, of Pittsburgh, died Friday, April 5, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sotero Roman; her daughter, Ana Luz Malave; and her granddaughter, Sandra Muniz.
She is survived by the three grandchildren she lovingly raised as her own, Lisa (Rick) Bedillion, Bethsaida Muniz (Matthew) and Diana (Mark) Focht; her great-grandchildren, Connor, Joshua, Elisha and Josiah; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Anna Maria was a remarkable women whose tenacity and strength knew no bounds. A longtime resident of Bellevue, PA, she was deeply devoted to her faith and her family.
