Jimmie Ray Saunders
Jimmie Ray Saunders, 82, or Ross Township, died Friday, March 16, 2018.
He was born in Jenks, OK, and was the son of the late Cleo Saunders and Maxine Most; husband of Bernice (Thieret) Saunders; father of James B. (Barb Fonzi) Saunders, Darrell C. Saunders, Daniel C. (Karen) Saunders, Christopher W. Saunders, Felicia Anne Saunders and Susan (Darren) Meyers; brother of the late Merna Kennedy; also survived by 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and by his beloved dog, Coco.
Jimmie retired in 1996 from the Operating Engineers Local # 66, where he was a proud member for 65 years.
He enjoyed NASCAR racing and traveled many years to Florida to watch the Daytona 500.
Memorial donations are suggested to the American Lung or Heart Association.

Mildred E. (Hirschfield) Garofalo
Mildred E. (Hirschfield) Garofalo, 97, of Avalon, died Monday, March 12, 2018 at Allegheny General Hospital.
She was born September 22, 1920 and was preceded in death by her husband John Garofalo and a brother and sister.
Mildred was retired from the former Suburban General Hospital in Bellevue. She is survived by her children Arlene (the late Edward) Healey, Emil (Antoinnette), John, Jr. and Elaine (Bill) Costello. She was loved by her grandchildren Jessica, Chelsea and Colton, along with Emil, Jr. and Jacob; also survived by great-grandchildren Madison and McKenzie.
Interment was private.

Sandra M. Gillingham
Sandra M. (Sandee Myers) Gillingham, of Bellevue, died Saturday March 17, 2018.
She was the daughter of the late Dorothy J. (Entinger) and Marvin M. Myers; mother of the late Charlie Gillingham; survived by daughter-in-law, Irene Gillingham, a brother, Richard M. (Sue) Myers and grandchildren, Stephen and Courtney Gillingham.
Sandee had been a member of Greenstone United Methodist Church and was a VA nurse for over 21 years.
There will be a memorial service scheduled at a later date. Interment was private in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.

Vincent Charles Brown
Vincent Charles Brown, 51, of Bellevue, formerly of New Castle, died March 15, 2018.
He was the husband of Rhonda (Mills); stepfather of Brian L. and Anthony R. Mann; brother of Michael D. Shimkus (Lisa), Daniel R. Brown (Jill Donovan), and Susan B. Milligan (Timothy); and uncle of Brandon, Colin, Danny, Michael, James, Brittany, Veronica, and Savannah.
Vin was an active member of the Strat-O-Matic Baseball Club, an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, enjoyed fishing, and loved spending time with family and friends.

Elaine B. (Morris) Hilyard
Elaine B. (Morris) Hilyard, 71, of Ohio Township, died on Sunday, March 18, 2018.
She was the wife of 49 years to the late DuWayne "Duey" Hilyard; mother of Lance and his wife, Courtney, and the late Lee Jeffrey Hilyard; grandma of Lainey and Luke Hilyard, Sean and Abigail Zwick and Macey Scarborough; sister of Ruth Ann Miller.

Joseph Daniel Manjerovic
Joseph Daniel “Dan” Manjerovic, 69, of Home, PA, died Monday, March 19, 2018.
He was the son of the late Joseph and Katharine (Kosic) Manjerovic; brother of Carol and David Manjerovic and the late Joanna Manjerovic.
Dan was a proud veteran of the US Navy, having served in Vietnam.
He was a boilermaker with Local 154.
In his spare time, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hot rods and was an avid outdoorsman. He was also a lifetime member of the VFW.
Friends will be received Friday from 2-8 p.m. in the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Inc., Avalon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Teresa of Avila Parish.
