Cynthia Vancheri Bednar
Cindy died Sunday, March 13, 2016, at her home in Midlothian, Virginia.
She lost her three year battle with ovarian cancer; her family was with her. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and grandmother.
Cindy was born in New Castle, PA, to Michael and Carol Vancheri. She was a 1973 graduate of Bellview High School.
She is mourned by five daughters: Christie (Kyle) Salus, Debbie (Michael) Johnson, Becky (Bruce) Hoang, Elizabeth and Samantha Bednar; beloved by seven grandchildren: Haley, Hayden and Hunter Salus, Justin and Brandon Johnson, Tyler and Charley Ann Hoang; also sisters Sandy (Jeff) Turnbull and Mindy (Carl) Wiedenhofer.
She was loved and will be missed by all her nieces, nephews, cousins and co-workers at Kohls and Burlington in Midlothian.
Burial was private in Midlothian, VA.

Richard Smolin
Richard M. "Mickey" Smolin, 89, of Brighton Heights, formerly of Greenfield, died Friday, March 11, 2016.
Mr. Smolin was active with St. Cyril's Athletic Association Top 200 Club, Parish Council, and he was an usher for many years. He enjoyed playing golf with the Lockhart Golf League. He was a volunteer for Meals On Wheels for more than 15 years. He enjoyed cooking soups, pasta sauces and pancakes for his family.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Kress Smolin; five daughters, Michele Smolin, Lynne Yurchak and her husband Harry, Suzanne Smolin, Elizabeth Smolin and her husband Todd Argust and Nicole Olwani and her husband Bill; 13 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Zachary and Mary Katherine Yurchak, Cole Southworth, Madeleine Argust, Claire Argust, Grace Olwani, Victoria Argust, Lydia Olivani and Sam Olivani; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Kundra Smolin; and his sister, Jayne Mudry and her husband Tom.
Friends were received at Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral mass was held in St. Cyril of Alexandria Church on Tuesday. Donations are suggested to West View Meals On Wheels, 100 Bellevue Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15229.

Richard Vrane
Richard Charles Vrane died Wednesday, March 9, 2016.
He is survived by his parents, Richard and Carol Vrane; two siblings, Marc E. Vrane and Amy Lynn Vrane; a nephew, Marc Michael Vrane; a niece, Calysta Miriam Woolums; and aunts,, uncles and cousins.
Friends were received at Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral mass was held in St. Cyril of Alexandria Church on Saturday. Contributions are suggested to Light of Life Mission, 10 E. North Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15212.

Martha Falk
Martha H. Falk, 101, of Mt. Lebanon, formerly of Bellevue and wife of the late O.B. Falk Jr., died Tuesday, March 8, 2016.
Mrs. Falk had worked at Carnegie Library for many years. She was a volunteer for church and civic organizations. She was an avid reader and gardener.
She is survived by two children, Jane E. Falk and her husband William Bartz and Robert H. Falk and his wife Jan; two grandchildren, Tyler Hunter Falk and Abigail L. Falk; and a great-grandchild, Hunter Shea Falk.
There was no visitation. A memorial service will be held in Southminster Presbyterian Church on Saturday, March 21, at 11 a.m. Memorials are suggested to the Carnegie Library or Phipps Conservatory. Arrangements were made by Beinhauers Funeral Home.

Edwin Kinne
Edwin A. Kinne, 93, of Ross Township, husband of the late June C. Kinne, died Friday, March 11, 2016.
Mr. Kinne was a Cornell University graduate and was retired from US Steel and the Society of Engineers. He enjoyed playing golf, tennis, gardening and fine wine.
He is survived by two daughters, Megan K. Carey and her husband Pat of Ross Township and Kara L. Kinne of Bellevue; two grandsons, Jack and Ryan Carey; and his sister-in-law, Jane Kinne of Syracuse, NY.
Friends were received at Simons Funeral Home, Ross. Services were held in Hiland Presbyterian Church on Tuesday. Contributions are suggested to his church at 845 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, PA 15229.

Margaret Misiti
Margaret J. Misiti died Monday, March 14, 2016.
She is survived by five grandnieces and grandnephews, Antoinette Bing Everett and her husband Henry, Charles Bing and his wife Jill, Therese Misiti Leise and her husband Edward, Michele Misiti Sullivan and her husband Thomas and Antonio Misiti and his wife Rory; and great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carmelo and Filomena Misiti; two siblings, Mariano and his wife Catherine and Antonio and his wife Margaret; her nieces, Philomena Misiti Bing Jurcevich and her husband Frank and Carmen Misiti and his wife Nancy; and her great-grandnephew, William Bing.
Friends were received at Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral mass was held in the Church of the Assumption on Thursday.

Raymond Crummie
Raymond J. Crummie, 92, of Bellevue, died Saturday, March 12, 2016.
Mr. Crummie was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Jazz Musicians Hall of Fame, and a jazz pianist at the Living Room in South Hills for more than 20 years. He most recently played at the Rolling Rock Country Club.
He is survived by his wife, Noreen Crummie; his daughter, Patty Robel; his sister, Shirley Muzzio and her husband Bob of Buffalo, NY; two granddaughters, Stacy Thomas-Hussani and her husband Amir of Alexandria, VA and Kathy Franck and her husband Travis of Beaver Creek, OH; three great-grandchildren Dylan, Alex and Carson; his sister-in-law, Nancy McAllister of Lewiston, NY; two brothers-in-law, James and Tom Kissel; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Beth Crummie; and his sister, Betty Mervick.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Church of the Assumption today, Friday, at 10 a.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
