Helen Fabina
Helen Fabina, 91, of Bellevue, died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014.
She is survived by four nephews, Frank DiCicco and his wife Sue, Larry DiCicco and his wife Patti, Marc DiCicco and his wife Donual and Paul DiCicco and his wife Liz; and grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Fabino; her sister, Anna DiCicco; her nephew, Matthew; and her niece, Michelle.
There was no visitation. Arrangements were made by Stephen M. Brady Funeral Home, North Side.

David
McKnight Jr.
David P. McKnight Jr., 65, of Peters Township, died Tuesday, March 4, 2014.
He is survived by his wife, Betsy D. McKnight; two children, Meredith M. Taylor and her husband Judson and David P. McKnight III and his wife Loraine; and three grandchildren, Reagan and Campbell Taylor and Penelope McKnight.
Friends were received at McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Avalon, until the time of services on Saturday. Burial was private. Memorial contributions are suggested to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.

John Najanick
John B. Najanick died Wednesday, March 5, 2014.
He is survived by two daughters, Sheri Tolomeo and her husband Louis of York, PA and Patricia Mowry and her husband John; his parents, Walter and Cleo Andrews Najanick; four siblings, Joanne Gesky and her husband Donald Louschil, Carol Ross and her husband Joe, Victor Najanick and Lawrence "Larry" Najanick and his wife Mary; four granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends were received at O'Brien Funeral Home, North Side, where services were held on Tuesday. Memorial donations are suggested to St. Cyril of Alexandria Parish Food Bank.

Marguerite Steck
Marguerite M. Steck of Brighton Heights died Friday, March 7, 2014.
Ms. Steck was an Oliver High School graduate. She earned a degree in art design at Carnegie Institute of Technology, now CMU, in the College of Fine Arts. She worked at H.J. Heinz Co., where she was senior label artist and package designer. She was a longtime member of Brighton Heights Presbyterian Church and a member of Jephthah Chapter #73 Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Highland Country Club. She was an avid artist and enjoyed travel, photography and entertaining.
She is survived by cousins, David Schachter and his wife Martha, Carol Schachter Boush and her husband Roy and Glenora Phillips; and dear friends, Regis and Mary Lou Bridge of Ohio and Dot Schachter of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry H. and Matilda Friedl Steck.
Friends were received at O'Brien Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral service was held in the Allegheny County Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel on Tuesday. Donations are suggested to the Salvation Army, 700 N. Bell Ave., Carnegie, PA 15106.

Vincent Viscomi
Vincent Viscomi, 40, of Bellevue, died Thursday, March 6, 2014.
He is survived by his daughter, Catherine; four siblings, Grace Tejchman, Rocco, Anthony and Mary Ann Viscomi; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Phyllis Viscomi.
Friends were received at Ball Funeral Home until the time of services on Tuesday.

Albert Deverts Sr.
Albert J. "Bud" Deverts Sr. of Ross Township, died Sunday, March 9, 2014.
Mr. Deverts was a retired printer. He was an active member of the Church of the Assumption and served as eucharistic minister.
He is survived by his wife, Anne Movra Deverts; three children, Maria Newton and her husband Richard A., Albert J. "A.J." Deverts Jr. and his wife Maureen and Andrew J. Deverts and his wife Denise; two grandchildren, Alexandria and R.J. Newton; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two siblings, Dorothy Eisler and Richard Deverts.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Assumption on Friday. Memorial contributions are suggested to Assumption School, 35 N. Jackson Ave., Bellevue, PA 15202.

Hope Ward
Hope S. Ward of Ben Avon Heights, wife of the late Norman B. Ward Jr., died Friday, March 7, 2014.
She is survived by three children, Pamela L. Ward, Susan W. Holinda and Norman B. Ward III; her son-in-law, Michael Holinda; and two grandsons, Michael Holinda Jr. and Matthew Holinda.

Helen Sprenkle
Helen Emma "Dolly" Yochum Sprenkle, 92, of Bellevue, wife of the late Charles Hamilton Sprenkle, died Monday, March 10, 2014.
Mrs. Sprenkle had performed with Oasis Chorale in Pittsburgh and with local bands. She enjoyed playing Scrabble, reading and singing.
She is survived by four children, Charlotte Sprenkle Scholl, Kenneth Sprenkle and his wife Tina, Carolyn Glaser and her husband Thomas and Brig. General David Sprenkle and his wife Janice; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by nine siblings, Arthur, Charles, Richard, Gilbert, Carolyn, Mary, Anna, Beatrice and Lorraine.
Friends were received at the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon, where services were held on Friday. Burial was in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills. Donations are suggested to St. John Specialty Care Center, P.O. Box 928, Mars, PA 16046 or a favorite charity.
