Eleanor Capps
Eleanor Virginia Capps, 95, of Greensboro, NC, formerly of Avalon and North Hills and wife of the late Harry Russell Capps, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011.
Mrs. Capps was an Oliver High School graduate and an accomplished pianist who entertained many social groups and organizations in the Pittsburgh area.
She is survived by two sons, Harry Capps of Grosse Pointe Park, MI and Kenneth Capps and his wife Karen of Greensboro; two sisters, Shirley Szurszewski and her husband Ed of Glenshaw and Helen Kearns of Hudson, OH; five grandchildren, Jeremy Capps and his wife Lisa, Kristina Hoops and her husband Tom, Stacey Meininger and her husband Brent, Kevin Capps and his wife Kathy and Kylie Capps; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Emma Brubach.
A funeral service was held at Allegheny County Memorial Park Mausoleum on Saturday. Contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society and the Rockingham Community College Foundation, c/o K. Capps Associate in Science Scholarship, P.O. Box 38, Wentworth, NC 27375. Arrangements were made by the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon.
Lula Edenhart
Lula M. Edenhart, 99, formerly of Avalon and wife of the late John r. Edenhart, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011.
She is survived by two sons, John R. Edenhart and his wife Ruth and Clarke Edenhart and his wife Marlene; four grandchildren, Kurt, Andrea, Donna and Brien; and five great-grandchildren.
Friends were received at McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Avalon, where services were held on Friday.

Norman Ward Jr.
Norman B. Ward Jr., 85, of Ben Avon Heights, died Wednesday, March 2, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Hope Ward; three children, Pamela Ward, Norman Ward III and Susan W. Holinda; two grandchildren, Michael Jr. and Matthew Holinda; and his son-in-law, Michael Holinda.
Friends were received at the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon. Services were private. Donations are suggested to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15237.

Robert Fisher
Robert L. "Bob" Fisher, 93, of Bellevue, husband of the late Rae E. "Bunny" Fisher, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011.
He is survived by two grandnieces, Janice L.T. Barry and Tammy L. Carmichael and her husband Donald E.; and a great-grandniece and great-grandnephew, Garrett and Justine. He was preceded in death by his grandnephew-in-law, Robert D. Barry.
Services were private and burial was in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray, PA. Arrangements were made by McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Avalon.

Margaret Schwoegl
Margaret Dorothy Schwoegl, 88, of Glenfield, wife of the late John W. Schwoegl, died Friday, March 4, 2011.
She is survived by three children, Sandra Kuriger and her husband William of Glenfield, John Schwoegl and his wife Mary of Houston, TX and Susan Ogden and her husband Alan of Punta Gorda, FL; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Friends were received at Richard D. Cole Funeral Home, Sewickley. Funeral services were held in Sewickley United Methodist Church on Tuesday. Burial was in Sewickley Cemetery.

Molly DeSimone
Molly Jeanne Howell DeSimone, 57, of Franklin Park, died Sunday, March 6, 2011.
Ms. DeSimone was a 1971 graduate of Avonworth High School. She worked at Boulevard Glass Co. for more than 36 years. She enjoyed trail riding her Palomino, Jess, and gardening.
She is survived by her son, William H. Heasley; her sister, Julie Smith; three grandchildren, Allison, Julian and Will; her aunt, Jean Callahan; her niece, Pammie Jeannie; and her dear friends, Tom Rattay and the Arndt family. She was preceded in death by her parents, John B. Howell and Julie Coax; and her brother, Dr. John B. Howell Jr.
Friends were received at Simons Funeral Home, North Hills, where services were held on Wednesday. Burial was in Ingomar M.E. Cemetery.

Nancy Hill
Nancy J. Henry Hill, 63, of Bellevue, died Monday, March 7, 2011 in Good Samaritan Hospice, Wexford.
Mrs. Hill had been office manager for the Cement Masons Union Local #526.
She is survived by three children, Carol Gump and her husband Dave, Dennis Hill and Cheryl Evans and her husband Tony Katic; two siblings, Lynne Ley and J.R. Henry and his wife Karen; five grandchildren, Josh and Ashlyn Hill, Alex, Katie and Brody Gump; and dear friends, Tom Kelly and Straub. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn D. and Dorothy E. Roush Henry.

John Lang
John N. Lang, 75, of Ohio Township, died Sunday, March 6, 2011.
Mr. Lang had worked in the roofing and sheet metal industry for more than 50 years. He recently retired from Miller Thomas Gyekis.
He is survived by his wife, Lois A. Bowser Lang; four children, Carolyn Alesantrino, Michael J. Lang, Maureen Gregory and her husband Ronald and Gregory I. Lang and his wife Suzanne; two siblings, Charles W. Lang and Leanna Ayoob; and three grandchildren, Nicholas and Mark Alesantrino and Ian Lang.
