Grace Chieffe
Grace B. Groticelli Chieffe, 92, of Bellevue, formerly of North Port, FL and wife of the late Edward Chieffe, died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2015.
Mrs. Chieffe was an avid bowler and enjoyed reading, knitting, crossword puzzles and telling jokes.
She is survived by five children, Sandra Chieffe, Peg Holzgrafe and her husband Michael of Quincy, IL, Debbie Clark of Knoxville, TN, Denise Estep and her husband Doug and Lorry Perkins and her husband Bob; her daughter-in-law, Katie Chieffe; her sister, Florence Miley and her husband Jeny; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Gary Chieffe; and her sister, Adeline Alexander and her husband Jim.
Services were private. Memorials are suggested to Arden Courts of North Hills, Activities Fund, 1125 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, PA 15237. Arrangements were made by the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon.

Patricia Martin
Patricia Frost Martin, 83, of Beaver, formerly of Bellevue, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015.
Mrs. Martin was a 1964 cum laude graduate of Duquesne University with a B.S. degree in education and in 1966, an M.S. in education. She was retired after teaching for 31 years in Avonworth Elementary, Emsworth Elementary and Rochester Institute of Technology. She was a member of the PA Association of School Retirees, the Thistle and Twig Club, Cornell Lab of Ornithology - Cornell University and Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Beaver.
She is survived by her husband, Alvin Mature; three siblings, George B. Frost Jr. and his wife Mary Lou of McMurry, Rosemary Holuska and her husband George of Phoenix, AZ and Elizabeth "Beth" Evans of Garresburg, PA; nine nieces and nephews, special niece, Amy Evans, David, Daniel, Mary Ellen and Timothy Frost, Jenenifer Stahl, Terry Hurley, Molly Evans, Scott Evans and Shannon Kobinsky; seven grandnephews; four grandnieces; and her cousin, Jean Stokes of New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her parents, George B. Sr. and Rosalia A. Ganther. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in Sts. Peter and Paul Church on Monday with Pastor Robert J. Miller the celebrant. Burial was in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Cornell Lab of Ornithology, Cornell University, Duquesne University or Sts. Peter and Paul Church.

Ian O'Neill
Ian McGuire O'Neill, 29, of Glenfield, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015.
He is survived by his parent, Kerry O'Neill; eight aunts and uncles, Sharon O'Neill and her husband Michael Scott, Eugene, Susan and Sara O'Neill, Anne and Jack Toward, Rosemary and Brian Tusa; and seven cousins, Casey, Jodie, Rory, Molly, Sean, Mary and Noah.
Friends were received at McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Avalon. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Assumption on Wednesday.

Dianna F. Vetterly
On Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015, Dianna F. (Hooper) Vetterly, age 74, formerly of Avalon, wife for 54 years of John R. Vetterly Sr., died. She was the mother of John (Joni) Vetterly Jr., Jackie ( Mike) Vetterly, Danyna (Bill) Marchese, George (Trudy) Vetterly, Brenna (Keith) Spriggs, Ann (Mike) Trembulak, Tim (Carol) Vetterly; sister of Kenneth (Pam) Hooper and late David ( surviving wife, Jeannette) Hooper; "Gram" to 19 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and one late grandchild. Family will receive friends Friday 2-8 p.m. at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Inc. 460 Lincoln Avenue, Bellevue, where a service will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Memorials suggested to the American Lung Association or the Arthritis Foundation.
