Richard A. Houy
Richard A. Houy, 67, of Emsworth, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018.
He was the husband of Maureen (Cahill) Houy; preceded in death by his parents, Benedict L. and Alice M. (Leicher) Houy, Jr.; and his sister, Janet Houy; son-in-law of David J. Cahill and the late Ann Cahill; brother-in-law of David T. (Joyce) Cahill and Donald P. (Alice) Cahill; also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Rick was a USPS letter carrier for over 30 years, and a lifelong Pittsburgh sports fan.

Daniel David Herchenroether
Daniel David Herchenroether, 60, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2018 in St. Louis, MO.
He was the father of Amy Herchenroether of St. Louis, MO and Benjamin Herchenroether of Boston, MA, and the son of Henry C. and the late Nell (Young) Herchenroether; brother of Richard Henry (Sue), and Peter Young (Susan) Herchenroether; former husband of Wendy Herchenroether; also survived by nieces and nephews.
He was born and raised in Pittsburgh, and Dan graduated from Westminster College with a B.S. in computer science. He later earned an M.B.A. from Katz Graduate School of Business, as well as a Master’s in education technology from Duquesne University. He spent much of his career working in leadership roles in the software industry and later worked as a computer literacy instructor.
Dan published his first novel, “Selling Air,” in 2004. He enjoyed biking, glassblowing, and spending time with his children.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018 at Community Presbyterian Church of Ben Avon, 7501 Church Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15202 from 10 a.m. until time of the Memorial Service celebrating his life at 11 a.m.

George W. Kiger, Jr.
George W. Kiger, Jr., 59, of Bellevue, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2018.
He was the husband of Dusty "Rose" Kiger; son of the late George W., Sr. and Clara Taylor Kiger; brother of John Kiger and the late Bonnie Jean Kiger; uncle of David (Janice), Linda (Dan), Stephani (Ryan), Katelyn, Brandon, Owyn, and the late Khourtney; sister-in-law of Susan (Jim) Grohol.
Memorial donations in George's name are suggested to the Hillman Cancer Center.
