Dennis Michaels
Dennis J. Michaels, 65, of Ross Township, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012.
Mr. Michaels was a retired audit supervisor for the Liquor Control Board.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Olszewski Michaels; three children, Stephanie Ondo and her husband Ron, Dennis Michaels and his wife Jessica and Elizabeth Michaels and her husband Jason Manse; and five grandchildren, Anthony and Natalie Ondo, Dennis Michaels III, Bradley Michaels and Lola Manse. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Sophie Michaels.
Friends were received at Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral mass was held in the Church of the Assumption on Monday.

Dorothy Kania
Dorothy A. "Dot" Lewis Kania, 69, of Brighton Heights, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012.
Mrs. Kania was a volunteer at Little Sisters of the Poor. She was co-founder of Crisis Center North and a member of the Ladies of Charity at the Church of the Assumption.
She is survived by four children, Sandy Szafranski, Kathy Karnavas, Joyce Kania and Raymond Kania II; two siblings, Frederick Lewis and Marty Bressler; and eight grandchildren.
Friends were received at Schellhaas Funeral Home, West View. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Assumption on Thursday. Donations are suggested to Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15212.

William Straw
William James Straw, 83, husband of the late Nancy Sue Price Straw, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012.
Mr. Straw had attended Bellevue High School and was a 1952 graduate of Duquesne University. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He is survived by two children, Susan Straw Yerger of Birdsboro, PA and Douglas Straw of Glenwood Springs, CO.
A memorial service will be held in North Way Christian Community in Wexford at a later date. Memorial donations are suggested to his church at 12121 Perry Highway, Wexford, PA 15090.

Lois Crummie
Lois C. Crummie, 61, of Bellevue, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012.
She is survived by her mother, Anna A. Newton Crummie; her sister, Suzann Cray and her husband Michael J. of Whitehouse, Ohio; two nephews, David and Thomas; four grandnieces and grandnephews, Aiden, Holly, Noelle and Sullivan Cray of OH and Canada; and her cousin, John W. Nicholson. She was preceded in death by her father, David H. Crummie.
Friends were received at the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon, where services were held on Monday. Burial was in Allegheny County Memorial Park. Memorials are suggested to a favorite charity.

Rose Marie Miller
Rose Marie Miller, wife of the late Lawrence T. Miller, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012.
She is survived by twin daughters, Phyllis Miller and her fiance Joe Muller and Janice Miller Stein and her husband Kurt; three sisters, Julia, Elizabeth and Dolores and her husband Ewing; four grandchildren, Nicole and her fiance Dustin Haas, Natalie, Jonathan and Paige; and twin great-granddaughters, Kendra and Kierston. She was preceded in death by four siblings, Marie and her husband Aldon, John, Lou and Frank; and her brother-in-law, Gene.
There was no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Assumption on Saturday. Burial was in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Assumption Catholic School, 35 N. Jackson Ave., Bellevue, PA 15202. Arrangements were made by the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue.

Eileen Cinicola
Eileen C. Cinicola died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012.
Mrs. Cinicola was retired from St. Francis Hospital, where she had been a registered nurse for many years.
She is survived by her husband, John L. Cinicola Jr.; four children, John Thomas Cinicola and his wife Jane, Daniel Patrick Cinicola and his wife Jackie, Eileen Painter and her husband Bill and Mary Mlinarich and her husband Mark; two siblings, Marie Converse and Thomas Conlon and his wife Nancy; and 13 grandchildren.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Assumption on Monday. Memorial donations are suggested to Light of Life Rescue Mission.

Rosemarie Mamros
Rosemarie A. Mamros of Bellevue, wife of the late George R. Mamros, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012.
She is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline Hrebenar and her husband James and Claudine Beatty and her husband Scott; four siblings, Frances Shazer, Anita Pendel, Joanne Heinlein and Anthony Santilli; and two grandchildren, Jared Hrebenar and Grayson Beatty. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luigi V. Santilli and Assunta Seretti.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Assumption on Tuesday. Contributions are suggested to the American Lung Association.

Penny Dolan
Penny J. Hunter Dolan, 68, of Bellevue, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012.
She is survived by two siblings, Linda H. Richards of Tamarac, FL and Franklin Hunter and his wife Judi of Waynesburg, PA; and her niece, Katie Hunter.
Services were private. Arrangements were made by Ball Funeral Chapel.

Dolores Maletic
Dolores E. Srsic Maletic, 81, of Bellevue and North Side, wife of the late Carl Maletic, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012.
She is survived by two children, Elaine Mozzetti and Carl Maletic; her brother, John Srsic; five grandchildren, Eric and Leslie Mozzetti, Greg Hamilton, Krista and Carl Maletic; and a great-granddaughter, Myla. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Maletic; and her brother, Albert Srsic.
A memorial mass was held in St. Boniface Church on Thursday. Memorial masses are suggested to be offered. Arrangements were made by T.B. Devlin Funeral Home, North Hills.

William Stone Sr.
William L. "Bill" Stone Sr., 90, of Coraopolis, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012.
Mr. Stone was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II, having served in the South Pacific. He was an ironworker and had worked at the New York City World Trade Center and the George Washington Bridge. He was a member of F&AM Lodge #674, Union Local #580 and #3.
He is survived by his wife, Winnifred "Winnie" Toukill Stone; five children, Philip Stone and his wife Peggy of Emsworth, William L. Stone Jr. and Bruce R. Stone, both of Moon Township, Deborah Candelmo and Carol S. Herbert and her husband Mike, all of North Port, FL; his brother, Harvey Wayne Stone of Moon Township; nine grandchildren, Keith, Edward, Denise-Nicole, Jeffrey, Scott, Victoria, Daniel, Sarah and Melissa; a great-granddaughter, Hayden Rose; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Philip Henry Charles and Harriet Foukes Stone; and two siblings, Harry Philip Stone and Martha Besong.
Friends were received at Copeland's Moon Township, where services were held on Friday with Rev. Rich Feagin officiating. Burial was in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Donations are suggested to the Parkinson's Foundation.

William Trust Jr.
William Charles Trust Jr., 89, of Franklin Park, formerly of Bellevue and husband of the late Margaret V. Tickner Trust, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012.
Mr. Trust was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a welder at Union Steel Casting. He was a member of American Legion Post #116.
He is survived by three children, Ron K. Trust, William C. Trust III and Leslie Nelson; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two children, LeRoy Trust and Linda Trust; and his parents, William C. and Emma P. Pokrant Trust.
Friends were received at Herbert R. King Jr. Funeral Home, Allison Park, where services were held on Thursday. Burial was in Allegheny County Memorial Park.

John Fardo
John B. Fardo, 81, of Ambridge, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012.
Mr. Fardo was a longtime educator, having served as teacher, principal, supervisor, special education/gifted pupils. He retired from the University of California, PA. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the medical corps. He was an avid gardener.
He is survived by his wife, H. Laraine Nawrocki Fardo; two children, John E. Fardo of Moon Township and Amy J. Padgett and her husband Brian of Economy Borough; two brothers, Jack Fardo and his wife JoAnne of Avalon and Robert Fardo and his wife Nancy of Ben Avon; three grandchildren, Madison and Baylee Padgett and Elise Fardo; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Carmela Rovini Fardo; and four sisters, Lucy Prosperini, Annie Bologna, Linda Boranko and Olga Suhayda.
Friends were received at Kasper-Hahn Funeral and Cremation Services, Ambridge. A prayer service will be held in Good Samaritan Church on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
