Audrey Andrews
Audrey E. Andrews, 91, of Brighton Heights, formerly of Warrendale, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010.
She is survived by four children, Barbara Hyde, Joanne Hyde, Andrew Golden and his wife Kathleen and Maureen Golden; four grandchildren, Jeff, Sherry, Jay and Afton; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Philip and Eva Andrews.
Services and burial were private. Memorial contributions are suggested to Forbes Hospice. Arrangements were made by McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Avalon.

Christine Snyder
Christine L. Snyder, 64, of Tucson, AZ, formerly of Pittsburgh, died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010.
Ms. Snyder worked as a secretary at US Steel for more than 30 years.
She is survived by three siblings, James Straight, Ken Straight and his wife Margaret and Linda O'Toole and her husband Michael; three nephews; and five grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Rose Straight; and two brothers, John and Thomas Straight.
Friends were received at Heard Funeral Home, Observatory Hill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Church of the Assumption Church on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Allegheny County Memorial Park. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.

William Schram
William J. "Bill" Schram, 61, of Bellevue, formerly of Oakland, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010.
Mr. Schram was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta Scheer Schram; two children, Marcia Butera and Michael Schram; three siblings, Donna Storm and her husband Les, Marlene Barnes and Robert Schram; in-laws Michael Scheer and his wife Kathy, Ann Mulligan and her husband Thomas and Edward Scheer and his wife Debbie; five nieces; and nine nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Joseph Barnes.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Assumption on Tuesday. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15205.

John Hern
John A. Hern, 62, of Avalon, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010.
Mr. Hern was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Vietnam War. He worked at Giant Eagle.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Munroe Hern; his son, Timothy Hern of TX; dear friends, Wayne and Pat Bell; and his Sheltie, Goober.
A celebration of life will be held later at his friend's cabin in Kane, PA. Arrangements were made by H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, North Hills.

Samuel Gizzo
Samuel J. Gizzo, 85, of Ben Avon, died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010.
Mr. Gizzo was the owner of Sam's Barber Shop in Market Square for 21 years.
He is survived by three siblings, Anthony Gizzo and his wife Terry, Gloria Kollar and her husband Ralph and Ann Hazard; his sister-in-law, Rose Gizzo; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Mary Gizzo.
Friends were received at Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral mass was held in the Church of the Assumption on Monday.

Jean Maug
Jean Cullison Germerodt Maug, 76, of Allison Park, formerly of Bellevue and wife of the late William J. Maug, died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2010.
Mrs. Maug was a longtime member of Greenstone United Methodist Church in Avalon.
She is survived by three children, Sandra Roth and her husband John, Sally Ann Reutter and her husband Paul and James A. Maug and his wife Ellen; and seven grandchildren, Zachary and Jordan Maug, Johnny and Jamie Roth, Pauly and Scotty Reutter and Ally Maug. She was preceded in death by her son, William John Maug; and her parents, Arthur and Ellen Germerodt.
Friends were received at the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon. A memorial luncheon was held in St. Paul United Methodist Church, Allison Park, on Saturday with funeral services following. Dr. Priscilla Friday
Dr. Priscilla J. "Patty" Friday, 58, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2010.
Dr. Friday received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Duquesne University.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Conner; four siblings, Paul Friday, Nancy Friday, Rebecca "Becky" Hurley and her husband Rich and Daniel Friday and his wife Lisa; and 10 nieces and nephews, Michael, Jessica, Ashley, Mallory, Kristen, Alex, Evan, Cody, Nicholas and Nathan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Priscilla Bowman Friday; and her brother, James Friday.

Amanda Crook
Amanda Michele Crook, 26, of Burgettstown, PA, formerly of Brighton Heights, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2010.
Ms. Crook was a graduate of Perry Traditional Academy.
She is survived by two children, Jacob Gill and Leah Littleton; her parents, Michael C. and Bonnie Lynne Cowen Crook of Burgettstown; three siblings, Nicole Brandt and her husband Tim of Bellevue, Courtney Melfi and her husband Craig of New Kensington and Cody Crook and his fiance Nicole of Pittsburgh; seven nieces and nephews, Emma, Noah, Caleb and Stella Brandt, Molly and Liam Melfi and Tegan Crook; her fiance, Cole Littleton of Joffre; and aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert James and June Crook and Edward and Mary Cowen.
Friends were received at Lee and Martin Funeral Home, Burgettstown, until the time of services on Tuesday with Rev. Jim Boyd officiating. Burial was private.

Ernest Halsey
Ernest C. Halsey, 82, of Avalon, husband of the late Madonna M. Halsey, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2010.
He is survived by five grandchildren, Kelly, George, Kenny, Joe Jr. and his wife Aubrey and Danny; a great-grandson, Joe III; and his daughter-in-law, Debbie. He was preceded in death by two children, Keith and Kristine; and his granddaughter, Melissa.
Friends were received at McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Avalon, where services were held on Wednesday.

Timothy Manion
Timothy J. "Tim" Manion died Monday, Nov. 29, 2010.
He is survived by two children, Douglas A. Manion and his wife Suzy and Stacy Lyn Manion-Riley; his sister, Mary Smith; and seven grandchildren, Caitlyn, Timothy, Taylor, Madison, Joseph, Alayna and Daylin. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Catherine McGinnis Manion; and his brother, John Manion.
Friends were received at O'Brien Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral mass will be held in the Church of the Assumption on Saturday at 10 a.m.
