Elizabeth Claire Patterson Rainey
Elizabeth “Betty” Claire Patterson Rainey, 98, a lifetime resident of the Emsworth area (Plumer Avenue), died December 17, 2017 in Lambertville, Michigan after a short illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Samuel Patterson and Clara Block Patterson and sister, Georgene Patterson (Charles W.) Dickson.
Mrs. Rainey was born in Pittsburgh July 4, 1919. She had moved to Michigan to be near her granddaughter and namesake, Elizabeth Eischen the past two years.
During WWII, Betty worked at Curtis Wright as an x-ray technician and afterwards, worked at Heinz Motors (Emsworth); Maxon Tire (later Archlee Tire, Northside)then retired from the NAPA business (Bellevue) in 1994. Having graduated from Oliver High School in 1937, she was active with the Oliver Girls Association.
She is survived by her son, John M. (Carol) Rainey of Phoenix AZ; granddaughter, Elizabeth “Beth” (Jeffrey) Eischen of Temperance, MI; grandson, John M. (Laurie) Rainey, Jr. of Phoenix, AZ; nephew Joel (Suzanne) Dickson of Ocean City, NJ; and six great-grandchildren: Michelle, Jeffrey, Christopher, Matthew, Christian and Jacob; as well as four great-great-grandchildren: Michael, Bella, Jeffrey and Josie.

Marie Evelyn Holtz
Marie Evelyn Holtz, 25, of Bellevue, died Tuesday, December 19, 2017.
Born April 12, 1992, she was the daughter of Jay Michael and Sue M. Trimble Holtz; sister of Phillip M. Holtz; granddaughter of Ardith (and the late Bud) Holtz. Marie is also survived by many loving extended family members, and friends, who will all miss her dearly.

Andrew J. Rubacky, of Ross Township, died Thursday, December 21, 2017.
He was the husband of 61 years to the late Dolores A. "Dee" (Thomas) Rubacky; father of Andrew R. (Joyce) Rubacky, Michael J. (June) Rubacky, Diane (Hugh) Burns and Cheryle (Richard, Jr.) Cummings; grandfather of Andrew M. Rubacky, Jason M. (Heather) Rubacky, Cayla Rubacky, Adam Burns, Shannon Burns, Zac Cummings and Tyler (Paige Costa) Cummings; great-grandfather of Brynn and Jaxon Rubacky and Zoe and Tyler, Jr. Cummings; preceded in death by two sisters.
