Dorothy Malloy
Dorothy R. Gastner Malloy, 91, of Emsworth, died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011.
She is survived by her husband, J. Regis Malloy; and three children, Bonnie Bass and her husband James, Diane Barr and her husband James and Ronald Malloy.
Services and burial were private. Arrangements were made by the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home.

William Steffes
William August Steffes of Kilbuck Township, died Monday, Nov. 14, 2011.
Mr. Steffes was an attorney, often taking pro bono cases for the needy. He was born in England and as a young man enjoyed living in Israel and Germany. He also frequently visited his grandparents in Cape Town, South Africa.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Hynes Steffes; two daughters, Sarah Michael and Hillary Marie Steffes; four siblings, Dan Pitts and his wife Reean, Robert Steffes and his wife Jennifer, Brian Steffes and his wife Wendy and Felicity Nash; and seven nieces and nephews, Ian Nash, Joseph Steffes, Jenna and Tracy Pitts, Ellen Nash, Chelsea and Kristen Steffes. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert August and Felicia Joubert Steffes.
Friends were received at R.D. Copeland Funeral Home, Moon Township, until the time of a memorial service on Saturday. Memorial donations are suggested to a trust fund for his daughters to Steffes Children Trust, c/o James Kochis, West View Savings Bank, 9001 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.

John Carey
John E. Carey, 86, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Cranberry Township and husband of the late Ruth Carey, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2011.
Mr. Carey was a member of Iron Workers Local #3. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and had received the Purple Heart.
He is survived by five children, Keith Carey, Anthony Carey, Sharon Brown, Beverly Hulton and Susan Berry; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue, where services were held on Monday. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Red Cross.

Marian Lawry
Marian C. Lawry, 90, wife of the late George A. Lawry, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2011.
She is survived by 10 children, George Lawry and his wife Sally, Dorothy Tragesser and her husband Art, Donald Lawry and his wife Debbie, Jane Boyle and her husband Frank, Joan Dinda and her husband Andy, Cathy Downs and her husband Jim, Peggy Crooks and her husband Dave, Mary Helgerman and her husband Walt, Julie Morgan and her husband Jim and Becky Glevicky and her husband Jerry; 24 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Mary; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two siblings, Rita and George.

Dorothy McMillan
Dorothy "Petie" Cook McMillan, 86, of Sewickley, formerly of the North Boroughs, died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011.
Mrs. McMillan attended Carnegie Mellon University and Westminster College. She served in the WAVES as a nurse at Bethesda Naval Hospital. She was an avid golfer and active in the Women's Golf Association. She enjoyed paddle tennis, traveling, doing jigsaw puzzles, Bridge and Jeopardy. She co-owned, along with her husband, Lectromat Inc. of Mars, PA, where she served as president.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph George McMillan; four children, Barbara Lee McMillan of Roselle, IL, Gary George McMillan and his wife Sherry Dinnen of Allison Park, Nancy Jo McMillan Myers and her husband Terry of Tigard, OR and Karen Beth McMillan of North Hills; five grandchildren, Kara Cacchione Czaplewski and her husband Neal, Erin Marie Cacchione, Melissa Dorothy Myers and Corey McMillan Myers; and two great-grandchildren, Kyle and Drew Czaplewski.
Friends were received at McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Avalon. Services were private. Memorial donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society or Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.

Mary Sobek
Mary Sobek, 98, of Boalsburg, PA, formerly of McKees Rocks and Avalon and wife of the late John Sobek, died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011 in State College, PA.
Mrs. Sobek was retired from Continental Can Co.
She is survived by two children, Thomas Sobek and his wife Karen of Pittsburgh and Judith Sabol and her husband Robert of Boalsburg; two siblings, Anne Deserio and Joseph Frankovsky; five grandchildren, Lisa Tanner, Sean Sobek and his wife Jaime, RJ Sabol and his wife Mindy, Jennifer Sabol and her husband Jamie Beschler and Michael Sabol and his wife Courtney; and five great-grandchildren, Colton Tanner, Joey, Katie and Julia Sabol and Chloe Sobek; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Elizabeth Petras Frankovsky; and two siblings, Aloysius Frankovsky and Sophie Kropiewnicki.

Margaretha Zilavy
Margaretha M. "Mike" Zilavy, wife of the late John E. Zilavy, died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011.
She is survived by four children, Dory Griffin and her husband Tom, Joan Larkin, Paula Tracz and her husband Frank and John A. Zilavy and his wife Nancy; her sister, Dorothea Brigode and her husband Jules; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Elizabeth Lomicka; her brother, Franklin Lomicka and his wife Jean; and her son-in-law, Charles Larkin.

Alice Balay
Alice M. Gulish Balay, wife of the late Mike Balay, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2011.
She is survived by three children, Michael C. Balay and his wife Francine, Mary E. Gatto and her husband Jerry and Karen S. Cush and her husband Jim; four grandchildren, Michael Ryan, Morgan, Carson and Jarrod; and a great-grandson, Mason. She was preceded in death by 15 siblings.

Mildred Feeney
Mildred Sekelick Feeney, 90, of Bellevue, formerly of Carnegie, PA and wife of the late J. Richard Feeney, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2011.
She is survived by her son, Dennis M. Feeney and his wife Marilyn; three siblings, Evelyn Danzey, Pearl Mueller and Peter Sekelick and his wife Jean; her niece, Bonnie Kaschak and her husband Robert; and other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Thomas Danzey and Kenneth Mueller.
Friends were received at Leo J. Henney Funeral Home, Carnegie. A funeral mass was held in Holy Trinity Ukrainian Church on Monday.

Charles Richard Jr.
Charles W. "Chuck" Richard Jr., 32, of Avalon, formerly of the North Side, died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011.
He is survived by four children, Charles W. III, Nathaniel L., Ryan T. and Leah N. Richard; his parents, Charles W. Sr. and Sharon Richard; and four siblings, Jennifer, Bryan, Chuck "Bubba" and Britney.
Friends were received at Miller-Brady Funeral Home, Troy Hill, until the time of a blessing service on Tuesday.

Robert Delp
Robert H. Delp, 87, of Mars, PA, formerly of Avalon and Cranberry, died Monday, Nov. 28, 2011.
Mr. Delp, along with his wife, owned Avalon Beer Distributor for 32 years. He was a member of the Avalon Volunteer Fire Company for 25 years and a deacon at Trinity Lutheran Church in Avalon for 32 years. Most recently, he was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mars. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served as a corporal during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Erdner Delp; four children, Christine Bernett and her husband James of Economy Borough, Cindy Havko and her husband Edward of Spokane, WA, Gary R. Delp of Crafton and Greg E. Delp and his wife Kim of Economy Borough; his brother, Richard Delp and his wife Pat of Florida; 10 grandchildren, Aaron, Alison, Mitchell, Jennifer, Jamie, Abigail, Robert, Nathan, Harper and Michael; and six great-grandchildren, Hanna, Molly, Benjamin, Maddie, Ryan and Lana. He was preceded in death by nine siblings, Lena Molloy, Geneva Massi, Pauline Brogley, Helen Delp, Park, Charles, Aldrich, Edgar and Walter Delp.

Robert Koehler
Robert Scott Koehler, 79, of McCandless Township, formerly of Ben Avon, died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Pennie A. Koehler; four children, Sharon L. Senge and her husband Andrew of McCandless Township, Kenneth R. Koehler and his wife Nancy of Newport News, VA, Joyce A. Koehler of McCandless and Scott A. Koehler and his wife Sherry of Franklin Park; his brother, Donald A. Koehler and his wife Maxine of Evans City; 10 grandchildren, Andrew, Tammy, Marc, Jason, Tracey, Kelley, Kevin, Abigail, Nicholas and Sarah; and two great-grandchildren, Tristan and Isabella. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marian E. Koehler.

Elizabeth Ledoux
Elizabeth "Bette" Kuchta Ledoux, 85, formerly of Creighton, PA and wife of the late Richard A. Ledoux, died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011.
She is survived by four children, Karen A. Savage of Natrona Heights, Kevin C. Ledoux and his wife Kathleen of Lynchburg, VA, Marc R. Ledoux and his wife Nancy of Duluth, GA and Lynn M. Ledoux and his wife Teresa of Wexford; four grandchildren, Dustin Ledoux of Duluth, Todd Ledoux of Wexford, Kristen Haas and her husband Josh of Ben Avon and Brian Ledoux of Wexford; two great-grandchildren, Emilee Ledoux of Duluth and Thomas Has of Ben Avon; and her caregiver, Mary Eileen Malecki. She was preceded in death by six siblings, Michael, Charles, Joseph, John and Edward Kuchta and Ann Marinelli; and her son-in-law, Ted Savage.

John Parsons
John E. "Jack" Parsons of Bellevue, husband of the late Cecelia Bremenkamp Parsons, died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011.
Mr. Parsons served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He worked in the construction industry where he founded his own company, Jepco, in Warren, PA. He also worked as an estimator for companies on the east and west coast of the U.S. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. He kept a rod and reel in the trunk of his car and would spontaneously take a road trip to fish.
He is survived by five children, Pauline Daly and her husband Robert of Virginia, Margaret Sterner and her husband Kent of California, Mary E. Mando and her husband Tom of McKean, PA, Michael J. Parsons and his wife Janet of Ohio and Katherine L. McGranahan and her husband Skip of Oklahoma; and eight grandchildren, Lyn Rahilly, Ted Sterner, Terri, Marti, Tom and Frank Mando, Jesse and John Parsons. He was preceded in death by his brother,k Daniel E. Parsons.
