Angelena Hunter
Angelena A. Franze Hunter, of West View, formerly of Troy Hill and wife of the late Edgar R. Hunter, died Wednesday, July 4, 2012.
Mrs. Hunter was a member of the Italian Sons and Daughters of America and a member of St. Athanasius and Holy Name Christian Mothers. She had worked for Keystone Box Co. and H.J. Heinz Co. and was a volunteer at Allegheny General Hospital and Observatory Senior Center for many years.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Andolina of Las Vegas, NV and Linda Shook of Avalon; four siblings, Josephine Spalla of South Hills, Antoinette Weber, Natale "Tom" Franze, Geraldine DeFoe of North Hills; six grandchildren;11 great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by two sons, Jack Andolina and Sam Andolina; her parents, Santo and Giroloma Pusateri Franze; and three siblings, Augustina Franze, Augustine Franze and Christina Romano.
Friends were received at Schellhaas Funeral Home, West View. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Athanasius Church on Saturday. Burial was in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery. Gloria Sauer
Gloria Dignam Sauer, 87, of Pittsburgh, wife of the late William J. Sauer Sr., died Friday, June 29, 2012.
She is survived by seven children, William J. Sauer Jr. and his wife Constance of Gibsonia, Robert C. Sauer and his wife Colleen of Acworth, GA, Gloria Ann Beatty and her husband Ross of Bridgeville, Nancy Lee Sauer of North Hills, Henry "Hank" Sauer and his wife Gayle of Sewickley, Mary E. Sauer of Monroeville and Edward M. Sauer and his wife Christen of Cranberry Township; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Anna Makris and Olive Gruber; her aunt, Grace Karl; and her son-in-law, Paul Judith.
There was no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Teresa of Avila Church on Thursday. Burial was in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Animal Friends or Animal Rescue League. Arrangements were made by the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue.

Virginia Schultz
Virginia R. "Deana" Schultz, 93, formerly of Bellevue and Ross Township and wife of the late Richard B. Schultz, died Sunday, July 1, 2012.
Mrs. Schultz was a graduate of Robert Morris College. She worked at Duquesne Light Co. as a secretary. She was an active member of the Ladies of Charity, and volunteered at Vincentian Home for many years. She was a member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas, past president of Christian Mothers, headed the Bellevue High School reunion of her class, and was a member of Wheeling College Guild, past president of the North Hills Band Parents, and past president of the residents council at Vincentian Personal Care Home, receiving the 2011 Academy Award for Best Sense of Humor. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan.
She is survived by two children, Lynne Coyne and her husband Pat and Bernie Schultz and his wife Mary Louise "Cookie" Soldo; two grandchildren, Michael and Jennifer Coyne; two step-granddaughters, Sara Rutledge and Stephanie Orloski; a great-granddaughter, Carolyn Coyne; five step-great-grandchildren, Matthew and Allison Rutledge, Katherine, Stephen and Mary Ann Orloski; and Nana Deana to Mateo.
