Barbara Ann Crumbaker Teves, 80, passed away surrounded by her family in Sarasota, FL in October 2018.
She was born in September 1938 at Suburban General and grew up in Pittsburgh. She was educated at Brown University; she served in the first wave of the Peace Corps; traveled the world extensively, and had a career as a psycho-therapist for 25 years in Beaver County, PA and Dare County, NC.
In retirement, she led an active life visiting family and friends, traveling, opera, theatre, concerts, book clubs, prayers groups, and volunteered selflessly for the less fortunate until her final days.
She is the daughter of the late Dr. Herbert Crumbaker, DMD, and wife Alice of Avalon.
She is survived by her children Christopher (m. Jenna), Nicole and Jonathan, her grandchildren Kerry (m. Andrew), Joshua (m. Kelsey) and Audrey "Annelise", and her great-grandson Atlas.
She is also survived by her siblings Susan, Gregory, and Jeffrey, numerous nieces and nephews, and her roommate John.
The funeral service is on Saturday, Nov. 24 at St. Alphonsus Church, 201 Church Rd., 10 a.m., in Wexford, PA.
In lieu of flowers, Barbara wished for donations to be made to Make-A-Wish and the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI).

Eunice M. (Latshaw) Ross
A a memorial service celebrating Eunice's Life will be held Saturday, Nov. 10, 11 a.m., in Community Presbyterian Church of Ben Avon, 7501 Church Ave.
Eunice, 94, formerly of Emsworth, died unexpectedly on Sunday, Sept. 30.

Wilma Ida (Ott) Blythe
Wilma Ida (Ott) Blythe, 95, died Saturday, November 3, 2018.
Mrs. Blythe was formerly an active member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Bellevue and the Order of Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee; her two sisters, Viola and Clara; and three brothers, George, Raymond, and Roy; she is survived by her loving family, Linda Sommers (Dr. Edward) of Rochester, NY, Robert E. (Judy) of Hermitage, PA, Wayne (Diane) of Stuart, Florida, and Virginia (Richard) Rodgers of Pittsburgh, PA; eight grandchildren: Ryan, Heidi, Nathan, Linzie, Kristi, Adam, Ben (Sarah), and Shannon; and one great-grandchild, Isabella.

Rose V. (Helfer) Coulter
Rose V. (Helfer) Coulter, 93, formerly of Bellevue, died Thursday, November 1, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Coulter; and by children, David and Barbara Coulter.
Rose was a devout member of the Church of the Assumption and was a volunteer with Suburban General Hospital Auxiliary.

Norman A. Peterson
Norman A. Peterson, of Bellevue, died October 31, 2018.
Norm and his wife Carol married on Nov. 23, 1952. He took a job at US Steel. Norm and Carol began their family two years later and had eight children; Kathy Costa (Dennis), George (Marsha), Robert (Beatrix), Harry (Jolene), the late John Francis, Christine Kubicky (William), Ann Amendola (Mark), and Michael.
The family moved from New York to Pittsburgh in 1971 where he would continue to work for US Steel through retirement. An avid bowler, Norman played on several leagues over the years. He enjoyed going to the theater, musicals and had a passion for the sport of horse racing.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, children, 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, extended family and all who were lucky enough to have called him a friend.

Pearl Milliken
Pearl Milliken, 95, of Franklin Park, formerly of Emsworth, died Monday, November 5, 2018.
She was the wife of 63 years to the late Robert Roy Milliken; mother of Robert Kelly (Carol) Milliken, Patricia (Robert) Lutz, Cora (Chris Lugar) Milliken, Amy (Jon) Seligman, Nancy (David) Hoey and the late J. Michael Milliken; sister of the late John Morris, Rachel Stahl and Faye Durtschi; grandmother of 21; and great-grandmother of 33.
She was born of simple means in Galion, Ohio until she met the love of her life, Robert. They married one month later and moved to Pittsburgh where she went on to fulfill her life dream of having a large family. Despite her successful career in the hospitality industry she considered her family her greatest life's accomplishment.
We will miss her energy, wit and her ability to set the world right for us. Friends received Friday, Nov. 9, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., at Simons Funeral Home, Inc.,7720 Perry Hwy., where a Funeral Service will be held Saturday, 10 a.m.
